Kinda funny/awkward story today at work...So a co-worker I had worked with prior to transferring to a different department saw me for the first time in probably 6 months today. He jokingly said "You need to cut your hair because you're starting to look like a gir". We were about to start a meeting so I sorta shrugged it off with a laugh and started the meeting...but afterwards, I realized it was sort of a compliment in disguise...and made my day for sure!
But yes, I have been trying really hard to make this a successful transition and glad to see its finally starting to pay off! I think I'm finally getting beyond the awkward-ish in-between gender stages. Just really need to find a voice that works for me...I'm either too high pitched and childish sounding or slightly below the average female range...its really hard to find that middle ground for me...a lot more practice I guess.
