I have this problem of being male and having a lot of body hair. My arms and legs are really hairy, and I think that's above average. I soon want to begin to look more feminine. What do I do to tackle this differently?

Make an appointment for electrolysis so they can remove all that unwanted body hair.

Redhot,

You could try a cheaper method of buying a waxing kit and keep the hair away for possibly a month or more at a time.

I used to get my wife to wax my back and I would epilate the rest. Once the effects of HRT kicked in, my shoulders and back stay clear and my arms and legs are much easier to maintain.  I have had electrolysis on the top of my chest just below my neck - a few probes would stray down when they were doing my face.  Breast and abs are pretty much clear now too and the epilator does a 10-second run over those every week or so.  Under arms done weekly but doesn't need that often.

It all takes time and you really need to keep it up because if you let it go (I did a couple of times), it is a pain to get it back.  Regular maintenance!!

Edit:  Try laser too if your colouring works for that.  Mine didn't really.  Hair looks dark but isn't dark enough.

Investigate if you are a good candidate for laser, this is fairly permanent but you need dark hair and light skin for best results. Electrolysis is your only other permanent option, very time and money intensive...best for beard removal. Otherwise it's waxing or shaving. Shaving is about the only painless option, but also the least effective. If you are going to start HRT, you may notice, with time the hair becomes lighter and less coarse.

I thought that I was too hairy. Is that possible?

Have you tried a body hair trimmer? If it's shorter, it looks like you have less. For me, in most places, it looks like I have none from far away, but also doesn't look like I shaved it up close. Now if only I could figure out a way to use it on my back without dislocating my shoulder...

Waxing sucks. It's costly, messy, and time-consuming. Get yourself an epilator. They're the best thing ever! They more you use it, the less it hurts, and the more effective it is. If you're on hormones, it's a great one-two punch. I was a hairy boy, too.

Sorry If this was a contest, I won it CRAP?
I have more hair on me than a werewolf.
The only place I don't have any hair is on my face which is due to electroylsis

In high school, some boy would pull on the hairs on my butt during gym class, I would get angry and he would give me a weird look like I'm supposed to kiss him. If he didn't do that I would have loved it.

I was super hairy before I started HRT Arms legs stomach back everywhere. I purchased a deal for six sessions of laser for face chest, stomach and back, by my 4th session it was like why are we even lasering any where besides my face on my recent 5th session they actually used my extra treatments for full arms and legs + bikini because the hair had been killed in the other areas, and actually doing my arms was kinda questionable but I had already paid so there's hope because people used to joke I had a sweater on under my shirts.

I am sorry you got my extra dose of hair, I never really had much at all.  I guess, maybe normal arm, and leg hair, lighter colored..  nothing on my chest, or back. None.. I didn't have to start shaving my face until I was almost 19. :embarrassed:  I guess, I never liked going to beach for that reason..  Sort of was ok tho, just another thing of me not having/being able to do to "fit in" to the role..

I've found that waxing repeatedly over certain areas, like my chin and mustache area, has helped it grow in a lot finer, sparser, and slower.
However, the downside is that you need to wait until the hairs are roughly 1/4th of an inch long for the wax to grab.
