Hi Calico,
I've only just hit on this thread and wish to add my very, very best wished to those of others. You really have been dealt a difficult hand and I am deeply admirative of your courage in the face of so much adversity.
You mention how much you appreciate the responses you receive from many here but believe me, your own extraordinary attitude is also an inspiration to all of us who know a little about your story.
Take care sister, you'll come through!

Everyone's responses truly humble me,  again thanks so much are in order,  as for an update.....  I slept all day, tried to walk just a lil,  lol its going to take a minute on walking, I want to say I'm better today,  but I have pretty much been resting.  It's all I time thing now I do believe, so one day at a time for now ::)

Hey Calico, yeah, I like to live for the day, and then I'll see tomorrow. Like each day is a "day-tight compartment."

I learned this from reading Dale Carnegie's "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living"

Excerpt:

One of Dale Carnegie's principles for overcoming worry is to live in "day-tight compartments."  This term was first coined by Sir William Osler when he encountered this life-changing quote from Thomas Carlisle, "It is not our goal to see what lies dimly in the distance but to do what clearly lies at hand."

Dale Carnegie also said, "If you want to avoid worry, do what Sir William Osler did: Live in "day-tight compartments." Don't stew about the futures. Just live each day until bedtime."

So taking it easy, one-day-at-a-time is perfectly fine Calico.

I'm not sure how to answer this to be honest,  I guess I'm glad that I can help or be even a slight example even in some small way.

Well put Evelyn,  I was once told something similar "always be mindful of the present, as the future has yet to happen, the past is to late to change, keep your eyes on the now as its what you can change at this moment"   I don't remember where I read or heard that but I agree with Shantel, definite good advice for most anyone.

Thanks again everyone  :icon_hug: :icon_hug: :icon_hug:

I'm so happy to hear your home sweetie. As others have said, take it one day at a time and you'll be okay. I was very worried about you there for a while so, take care and get better. :icon_bunch:

Living one day at a time makes life manageable.

The downside for me, every day is ground hog day... =)
