Soooo....  this morning I was really close to being late for work so I was trotting to the door from my car.  About halfway there I noticed that MY CHEST WAS BOUNCING!!!!  It wasn't a lot, but I could definitely feel it.

*so excited*!!!   ;D

sports bra time!
I used to run valet and that bounce starts to hurt when left unchecked

Funny, I just mentioned this in another thread! xD

I had that feeling for the first time a few weeks back, trotting down a flight of stairs at speed. Almost tripped up and went head first when I felt it due to the shock alone xD

I'm sure it will get annoying eventually, but for now. I WANT MORE BOUNCING!

-bounces up and down in seat-

...Suddenly I have a burning desire to go dancing :D
You say "Using humor as a defence mechanism" like it's a BAD thing!

When you feel them bouncing around when you go up and down steps fast or run, it is bra time, probably a little sports bra to start out.

Mine are busting out of A's into the B range. I've been wearing these silk comfort bra's with slight cotton padding and no underwire I found at my local thrift store -comfy and they give me plenty of support for going up and down stairs, running, etc. The feeling is exhilarating!

Well congratulations, but now you really should be thinking about wearing a bra. I was advised that once you start to notice them its time to think about  wearing a bra, preferably initially an underwire bra to give them some support. My  therapist recommended strongly that I wear one 24x7  as a training bra for the first 18-24 months to ensure that the breast tissue developed a more rounded shape and not like a set of traffic cones, i.e. more of a tear-drop shape. Obviously you will need to  take it off in the shower and bath, but I even wore one in bed and it really did work. These days I am a nice B cup and they are still growing although in spurts. But wearing a bra is essential when you get the extreme tenderness of the nipple and the constant itching and stabbing sensations in the areolae. I still get bouts even now after nearly 18 months back on HRT. In fact I am rapidly heading towards a very nice rounded C Cup.

I think I'll wear a sports bra when I start HRT. That way its not a question of when. I already have a couple that I purchased out of curiosity.

Holy crap, I needed to take a couple of running steps today and what do you know. Such bouncy hurtiness! Yeah, I guess it's bra time for me as well.

Wow, I never thought about that aspect of it.  I don't feel like I need the support just yet, my OP was the first time this has happened but that makes sense for developmental reasons.

Looks like "someone" (ok me) is going bra shopping!  :D

Thanks everyone for all of the great replies!

*reading wiki about underwire bra's* Seems they can even save your life...must have for any heroine!

Yes mine are bouncy, but it hurts quite a bit. Hard tissue behind the nipples

I'd like more ounce to the bounce though!  >:-)

I wear my silk comfort bras 24/7 with the exception of in the shower/bath. They provide good support despite having no underwire, and my booby's are nice and round like a young teenage girl's. The cotton padding in them provides great protection for sore nipples while sleeping. I too was told you should wear one 24/7 to avoid getting Madonna Cones, lol!!

That hard tissue behind the nipple are your mammary duct glands. Breasts are more than just bouncy fat cells!  :)

I figured that in the meanwhile...but...will the 'hardness' stay? ;)

Is a bra really going to make a huge difference in preventing conical or tubular breast shape?  Cis women seem to end up with them often anyway.  I really hope mine don't go that route and I am wearing a bra most days now.  My mother's were rather pointy most of her life and I'd expect to develop unavoidably the same.  I've been developing for eight months and am not yet to the stage where there's much rounding-out below the nipple line, which is more concerning to me.  I just don't want them to end up looking odd.  That said, I feel mine are looking pretty decent overall and for their size.

No, the hardness is temporary, as a part of growth. :) Fully-developed breasts lose it somewhere during the process.

Also, bras can't "train" the breasts; they affect shape while you're *wearing* them, but the effect is temporary and gone as soon as you take the bra off. (There's some debate over whether bras can prevent - or cause! - sagging, but none at all about whether they can permanently influence breast shape.)

Violet Bloom, most girls when they first develop have conical shape breasts, just the way they grow. As they grow larger they get more round and may start to sag a little depending on their size(weight) that is where a good supportive bra may help. For a few women they are slow to develop beyond the conical shape, keeping their small perky boobs. Gravity will cause all boobs specially when they are larger to sag with age.  A bra can only shape your breasts if they are soft and take the shape of the bra cup or you have a bra padding to shape them, so small perky conical breasts will look conical in a simple unlined bra.

My breasts 'pancake' quite normally when in the bra.  I can tell though that there simply hasn't been enough skin growth yet to allow the glandular mass to round out the bottom of the breast.  As development has progressed the 'jiggliness' has changed repeatedly as the skin lags and then catches up to the rest of the internal growth.  The 'mound-on-a-mound' effect of the soft areola swelling out first exaggerates the pointy appearance.  If I just press in a little on them the shape looks much more normal, much as it does right after removing a bra I've worn all day.

Today was my first day without a bra since  my breasts grew into the B range. My top I wore today doesn't have even straps to cover my bra straps which, on my only two bra's that fit are white. If they were colored I wouldn't have cared if they show. But white straps give you the "my underwear is showing" look. I guess I gotta fork out some $$ for a couple of colored bra's in 32B's. I like comfort bra's like the two I have soooo, I might just look around tomorrow while I'm out.

Violet Bloom, if you are wanting the more round looking breasts, you could try one of the molded cup bras that many girls are wearing today.  These bras also give you a little protection if your breast a sensitive to be bumped during the day.
