Being in-between is weird

Hi everyone,

Yesterday my mom called to ask if I could help my dad move some stuff at their house saying they need a strong back.  Of course I'm going to, but yeah that's getting to be a weird feeling.

At four months HRT I'm definitely starting to develop but still have pretty good musculature in my upper body, mostly from my job as my workouts any more consist of about 90 percent cardio, the other ten I wouldn't even consider strength training.  It's mostly just toning and very little of that!  I've been doing this for probably eight or nine months and am still waiting for HRT to work it's magic on my muscle mass!  I wear a bra now every day and my wife has commented that I'm definitely wider in the hips now.  :)

Idk, just a weird feeling being "in-between"...   :-\

I know kind of what that feels like, though I think right it's largely still because I present as either gender depending on the situation. Work and school are male, home and with friends is female. But because I work at a school and am one of the few 'guys' who do so, I still get requested for the heavy lifting, which is fine, since I still can. I remember one comment especially about not a lot of guys being right for the field of work, and them pointing me out as an exception. They have no clue about me, but it still and a weird sense of irony to it.
Live a life with no regrets and be the person you know you were meant to be.

I am a weird girl, I like video games and skirts, swords and nail polish, sharks and black lace...not sure if that's normal, definitely sure that I don't care. =P

Indeed, it is a very odd part of the metamorphosis. But that is also what puberty is like, we feel weird, things are changing and we don't know where it's all going to end up.

Better use that strong back while you have it, because before you know it, it'll be long gone... took about two years for me to lose 3/4 of my upper body strength

Yeah, the more I look, the more I hear about losing lots of upper body strength.  I'm a mechanic by trade, so I'm interested to see if I get to a point where I can't even take a tire off a car.  :'(
The whole world is in transition.

THIS! I just had to move to a new place, and my male friends/family (out to everyone) did all the heavy lifting and let me be with the ladies. That said, I've always been profoundly weak, but HRT has caused me to lose like 90% of THAT, so they are very understanding :p

im only two months in and have seen a huge decrease in strength along with other things.
I can't lift half as much as I used to.

Just the other day I had to wrestle an extension ladder into place an Owwww! No more full frontal leaning to move that ladder again for this gal! But having even less of my nearly non existent upper body strength available I have to figure out another body trick to get some sort of mechanical advantage.
