CodexUmbrae- I think you look sort of androgynous. I don't think you need to cut a lot of your hair up. I'm currently growing my hair out from an undercut and it's gonna take me a year to get it to chin length; so I wish I had your hair

Squarer glasses would also help.

As for your name Nathaniel fits and suits you. Not sure about Caleb because it's suchan unusual name but Caleb Nathaniel has a nice ring to it .

Also GC2B make the best brand of binders if you're looking to buy one.

CodexUmbrae- You do look very very androgynous, so much so that it can be very easy to tip the scale to the guy or girl range so its important that youre conscious of all your other tells like dress, walk, voice. Unfortunately, being seventeen and in school and/or around the same crowd of people your age might be a "tell" in you not being a bio male, I could easily see you as either.

I wouldnt put too much stock in those gender detection apps, theyre fun to use and genuinely help if youre able to get detected right because theyre fairly accurate, but not entirely. Ive seen cis people get misaged or misgendered before so its really a non issue.

I also wouldnt worry if you did like girls haha, as much as being a gay male is a good thing for small guys like us [emoji14] (Petite master race), it ultimately depends on who you like and who likes you, we're both super gay (but not really) but I ended up with a girlfriend who's slightly taller than me, hahaha!

I suggest that if you dont like glasses you try out contacts, it takes a little extra practice but for me its not hard to use and I enjoy them,

As for names, its really hard for you to have others pick, since you opened up with Caleb I'd feel bad for dissuading your personal decision, I do have a friend named Caleb its a cool name. I do tend to like names with nicknames though so if it were me I would go with William because I like the sound of that.

Yeah, I actually don't get so worried (hope I spelled correctly xD) about how i walk at least. Always been told I walk like a boy. xD I'm working on lowering my voice... And my clothes are a bit of a problem 'causd great part of them are gifts and so, for a girl. At least I have some clothes that I got to choose and they're from men section and I like them. Although I always have to bend the jeans because if I not I step on them. xD
And yeah... At least, I'll move when I finish high school, and I hope that by that time I already started T or something.

Cheers! Hey, pushing 40, I'll take all the youthful looks I can get lol. Generally speaking, I do tend to look younger than my actual age, though now you see some wrinkles when I smile.

Since the summer, I've been working on losing weight and improving physical condition. Since the start of the year I've dropped about 15lbs, so that helps to make my face a little less round (the last picture is from June just to show hair, which is bit longer/shaggier now - other pics from last week). Renewing exercise efforts now with running, swimming and workouts.

I'll put a bit more of an update in the other thread.

^^lilred if you feel its your face its most likely you still got a bit of cheek fat that might tip people off but given a bit more time that will get angular, youre already doing so well and you can pass

This is just me but to me it's not your face but actually the shape of your body. Maybe try button down shirts instead of t-shirts to obscure your waist-hip ratio. I get misgendered a lot in t shirts myself. Your forearms actually look quite squishy and feminine. Longer on T will change that, of course.

Your face is quite masculine looking; squarer glasses would help; naybe with half frames (I wear glasses myself). Wearing tighter tshirts also help you look more muscular. Just keep in mind you're going to be in the awkward inbetween faze until 7/8 months; which is when most ftms start looking simply male. The wait sucks but it's worth it.
