Lucky bugger. I got dad's genetics...say no more.

I had a friend who went to Dr. Reed for phallo earlier this year and had some really nasty complications. Not that that can't happen with any surgeon, but he wasn't overly happy with the response. He wound up paying more to have it fixed locally.

The pics look good though. Like I said, anyone can have complications with any surgeon.

It has to be 9 inches or more, I swear! Although, the cost of that is getting skin grafted off his arm. He's still needs to get his balls, for a lack of better word, since it would help with a lot of things. He's got the pump system too, although, it's weird, because Montreal (where he went) puts the pump on his side... which means being careful not to tighten a belt over it.

That's from a phallo, not a meta. The risk is much higher with phallo. Meta uses what you've got naturally, so it's a lot smaller. I have a friend who had a phallo in January and had horrible complications and lost all sensation. Most of us don't want to take that risk. I know I certainly don't.

Though lower than with a phallo, there's still a risk of loss of orgasm with meta, and even just clitoral release.
One could come out of surgery with great looking parts that don't work. What's the point if you can't feel anything?
I guess any genital surgery, you take that risk though. Transwomen's surgeries too.

Well, a metoidioplasty is basically performed by releasing the clitoris and using the labia majora to create the scrotum; as you know the clitoris is not a very large organ, but it can get large enough after testosterone.  This is why most men who choose metoidioplasties are not very
well-endowed as someone who chosses a phalloplasty for instance.  A phalloplasty, on the other hand, is the construction of a penis using skin/tissue from other parts of the body (mostly the arms).  This operation has not been perfected yet and most of the results are not  cosmetically acceptable IMO.  Besides a phalloplasty is a very costly procedure which can range from $40,000 to $80,000 depending on the type of operation and surgeon.

Phaloplasty results are TERRIBLE and I don't know why anybody would want them!! I think the Meto results are much much better and considering the cost, a much better investment.

I thought you marry tink. Well, I like the regular one with feeling. I want to have a normal life but that seem hard. How can i say to the one I love, I'm sorry we can not have kids. Every time I get this same questions run in my head.. why can i not born normal? Well.. Then I think if this didn't happen to me, I wouldn't See life in a different view.
Now, All I wish is to be complete and be good to the one i love and spend time with. My problem is to find the right person to operate on me and the required process. With technology today I hope the process is easy. The future is hard to tell. I hope I have someone to be with on that long lonely road.

Thanks Tink however I think I will be having Metoidioplasty as the results of Phaloplasty are not worth it and the results are awful.... However... it all depends on how much I grow during the T period!

Hmmmm....that was a dream which I posted somewhere (After the cake is baked thread or something), but like any dream, it turned out to be an illusion, nothing more.  However, I can't complain, for new, exciting things are happening in my life nowadays... ;)

You are welcome everybody. :)
