Yeah, I keep getting calls from different people in India claiming to have names like James, John, Nancy and a lot of others. They say they are from Texas and other states claiming to work for Microsoft and they got a bunch of error reports from my computer. Every computer has errors on it from boot errors to losing power and so on. Errors are infinite on computers. They can help me if I go to this sight and download a program and then go to their sight and they can help me with all my errors.

They then can get into my computer and hold my files hostage. I usually keep them on the phone as long as I can just to cost them money and just mess with them.

I won't go too far into what I do but it can get a little X rated.

Just play with them. OMG! One of the guys I swear was doing something and I should have charged him by the minute.

But scams are rampant an with everyone owning a computer just about now days, there are people that fall for it. One out of a thousand with how many billions in the world. Big bucks.
Best thing is that if something sounds too good to be true, it is. Never let anyone remotely access your computer. No legitimate company other than the online back up companies and the computer meeting companies will do anything like that. Microsoft definitely doesn't monitor error reports unless you report them.
BTW, claiming to be an old friend? Maybe not even anyone you knew.
