Well. I finally get to go back on T. I went to an endocrinologist and she said there was nothing wrong with any of my blood work. That's great. There is just one moral issue I am having. When I signed up for my insurance three years ago, I had no idea that they put me in as biologically male. I know that now, but I never had any official, legal gender marker change except on my drivers license. Because my insurance thinks I was born male, they will cover both the endo and the T. Do I let them know and go back to the clinic with the less experienced doctors and pay out of pocket for the T? Or do I hold my tongue keep seeing the endo who knows what she is doing, and let my insurance pay for the T?
What would you guys do? My insurance has already paid for two visits, but I haven't picked up my prescription yet.
