Hey everyone! I'm going into my 3rd (2nd consecutive) year working on the mountain. I'm moving from one of the restaurants to lift ops this year so I'll be snowboarding everyday all season long! I'll be in Utah. The resort I work at is really cool about me being trans. Does anyone else do seasonal work?? I'm hoping to save enough for top surgery before this summer because I want to get a summer job working on a lake and don't want to bind.

I don't do any seasonal work but man, I would love to do something like that. I snowboard but wasn't able to go out last season at all and it was terrible.

Awesome! I have a friend who's at snowbird this year. Kind of annoyed with him because we won't get to kick it all winter as previously planned (he was going to be the lead on my lift) but it's a great mountain so good luck! Oh yea and I'm in PC. They got bought by Vail this summer so I'm interested in seeing what, if anything, changes.

And to anyone looking for work this winter I highly suggest applying to mountain resorts. They're almost always short staffed and you can always find housing with other workers. People are constantly looking to bunk up and save money.
