Dilating and the stitches near the anus. So annoying!

This is my 6th day for my dilation regime and just today I was able move up one dilator to No. 2 but the thing I hate the most is the stinging pain that is within the labia to the south of the vagina near the anus on the right. Although, dilating is not an issue for me and have become more and more easier, the only thing that annoys the crap out of me is the stinging.

I have spoken to the nurse about this stinging feeling when I first dilate and gradually goes away after getting the dilator in and the nurse told me that is normal. It's because of the stitches tugging on the skin when the vagina stretches while the dilator is going in.

I know I have to deal with it but can someone tell me how long until that stinging goes away or when that lower labia pain is no longer felt? Nurse said perhaps one month but what time frame did others get for the stitches to dissolve?

And what would be the best healing process? I don't want to just stop dilating and lose depth until it heals. Im gonna keep dilating until it heals up but I feel like it's not healing whenever I dilate and I'm afraid it's tearing but the nurse said it's normal. Did any of you have this experience? How did you cope with it or get it to heal faster?

During the healing process, I sometimes (and eventually for a few months) ended up not using the largest dilator, and only focused on maintaining depth with the small and the medium. Basically, width is fairly easy to regain but depth is not, just fyi. Once the stitches heal you could go back and make up whatever minor losses in diameter over a few sessions. Even after a few months, it only took me two or three weeks to get back to the large.

More lube scotty.

I, I captain.

Make sure you add some extra lube to that area to help.

Lube and after dilations ice are our friends.
