So ever since I got home last Sunday, there have been this stinging pain in one particular spot when I have my dilator halfway in my vaj. It's the same spot and it stings to a point where I have to cram up outside but try to loosen and relax inside regardless of the stinging feeling in that one spot so I could get the dilator to the wall.

I don't know what it may be but after the dilator has settled in all the way into my vaj wall, the stinging is completely gone. It's only felt the first time the dilator is going in.

I am scheduled to see a gynecologist this upcoming Tuesday and hopefully she can tell me what it is as she had many experiences with trans patients who had srs as well.

BTW, after dilating, there's tiny brown particles (not a lot only at one spot and not all over dilator) that is visible on the clear dilator as well as "dirty" transparent color (a streak and not all over dilator) when dilator is out. It looks like mucous or cum-like but I dunno. My last follow up 3 days before I got back to the U.S, my surgeon showed me how to douche and did it for me. And the next time I could douche again is at the end of this upcoming week.

Is this all normal? Can anyone she'd some light of what I'm seeing or experiencing? Thank you!

Im 1month post op and that stinging pain halfway inside still there. Its the pelvic muscle / cavity that you feel halfway inside. This is why dilating on sched is important so that the muscles down there will be trained to loosen up. It could be also the wounds / stitches that arent fully healed yet inside. Just dont rush it when dilating. Rest if it hurts then continue going in slowly. Hope this helps

Got exactly the same. The Pain I get is from the labia minora which has some tiny wounds, not visible, and the muscle. I also got the white stuff on top of the dilator, it probably is wound material, indication the wound is healing in a moist environment. Don't have brown stuff. It can be dried blood.

Phew! Thank you for the info as I am relieved it's not some infection or some sort...
