Hello everyone,

after having followed the forum discussions here on Susan's for quite a while now, I thought it was time I joined this special place as a member.
Much of what I have read here has been helpful and very interesting to me, I hope over time I will be able to contribute a bit and give something back.

I am 45 years old, MtF, have had psychiatric therapy since August 2013, HRT since December 2013, SRS with Dr. Suporn in December 2014.

You may learn more about me through my posts, and I have still much to learn about my new self, perhaps we will do this together.

I hope we will soon get to know each other better.
Well, that is YOU get to know ME better, because I have been lingering and lurking here for so long now and I have read so many posts by most of you that you feel familiar to me already.
Time to even these odds...

@ArcticFrost: The time between my first contact with the "system" and my SRS was indeed quite short (~16 months), but my transition had already been going on for decades, with me finally realizing I might be trans about five years ago. When I started therapy in 2013, I had already done my own RLT and lived full time in my home city for some years, but had not come out to friends or work colleagues yet. When I thought I was ready and sure about this, I tried to waste as little time as possible. My psychiatrist is experienced in these things and saw no reason to hold me back.

I am back, and I am happy about it.

Not too long ago things were looking all black to me, and in my pain I made a few mistakes. Deleting my account here was not the biggest of them, but it is one of those I have regretted the most.

Many of you feel like friends to me, and even if I may not have posted enough for you to feel the same about me, I want to come back inside and be with you, share my thoughts and feelings with you.

I wish Susan could allow me to pick up where I left and merge my two "Girl Beyond Doubt" accounts (I have already written to her about it), I am really sorry for the unnecessary drama.

Things had happened IRL that had made me doubt whom I could trust, who was on my side, who held a grudge against me, who wanted me gone.
Seems I am not beyond all doubt after all...

I won't write any lengthy introduction though - not again. But after my stupid episode out in the cold I intend to stay here for good, and I hope there will be more than enough of my obnoxiously honest posts for you to get to know me.
