FFS with Dr Di Maggio

It has been quite a long way and a lot of work before being able to decide who's going to carry out the first session of FFS. After having studied quite a lot of before and afters from well-renowned surgeons, I shortlisted the following surgeons:
1. Di Maggio
2. Bart v d Veen
3. Facial team
4. Ousterhout/De Braly
5. Dr Spiegel

I received an assessment from Bart, but as he was unwilling to answer my questions afterwards I decided to eliminate Bart from my list.
I had a personal consultation with facial team, but as I wasn't satisfied with the outcome I eliminated them from shortlist as well.
I talked with Spiegel on Skype and received a proposal with a pricequote afterwards. All though Spiegel provided good answers to all my questions he is to conservative to my liking and far to expensive.
Further on I talked with De Braly on phone, but as I wasn't satisfied with the outcome of the conversation and he proved to be far too expensive I eliminated him from my shortlist also.
Finally I had an ongoing  conversation with Dr Di Maggio for several months. He was able to answer all my questions in detail to my satisfaction, was very committed and showed great concern.  During the process we were able to work out what suited me most as first step of FFS, which is forehead, brow lift, rhinoplasty, thyroid cartilage reduction and possibly blepharoplasty and midface-pexia.
Di Maggio has delivered consistent results and has an aggressive approach with very good results. He was also less expensive than the US-alternatives. Dr Di Maggio became my choice and I'm having surgery with him and his team the 25th of June this year.

Does he think you'll be ready to fly back a few weeks later, or does he wants you to stay for longer?

Also, midfaxe-pexia - what is that? A lift?

I'm arriving Buenos Aires 22th of June, surgery will be on 25th of June and I'll be heading back home again 11th of July. As I understand Dr Di Maggio recommends a stay of 14-16 days as a general rule. I added some days in order to make sure to be well rested before surgery and some extra days afterwards in case anything unforseen should occur.
I'm renting an appartment nearby where his clinic is situated in Belgrano-Buenos Aires. Renting the appartment for 3 weeks costs me 7.500 NOK or approximately 930 USD.
When it comes to safety I'm not that worried after doing some research-the worst part seems to be the traffic. A bit of common sense and general precautions as on  every journey will do just fine.
Midfacepexia is a light facelift.

My experience is that it wont take very long. In my case they were very attentive and responded swiftly. My first message was answered after just a few days with a proporsal.

I dont speak much Spanish myself, but there are people on his team that speaks both spanish and english and helps out when needed-bilangual assistant as part of the services aggreed upon in advance.

Getting more excited as the day of surgery is getting nearer-just 46 days to surgery now.
A note about transport..I spent some time researching about what would be the best option when it comes to travel by air back and forth from my starting point-which is Oslo. Obviously, time of travel is important, but to be comfortable during the travel on the plain also is important. The cheapest option turned out to be KLM with one change in Amsterdam, but the use old 777''s which isn't comfortable at all so I didn't choose this option. Air France with a change in Paris is an option, but the airport Charles de Gaule is a nightmare and not really an option. My choise was Lufthansa with a change in Frankfurt as the use the Queen of the skies-747-8-which is quite new as well. It did cost a bit more, but it's a very comfortable option.

I did my frontoplasty with Maggio. I liked him for orbital bone. How have the great tests, perhaps future make another scalp forward or a hair transplant surgeon with each other. I had little orbital bone. How do I post pictures? I live in Brazil and never thought of doing in Facial Team, because I have seen many unfortunate girls who operated there, little or no change and many girls have to redo rhinoplasty with other doctors. Now, here in Brazil we have a doctor called Dr. Martins, have excited the girls, a specialization with Dr. Sherman Leis in Philadelphia and we are awaiting results position us.

I just wanted a greater capillary advance, but know it's not the fault of the surgeon. It all depends on skin eslasticidade such as determining the size of the achieved progress. I liked him from the safety of, and to eliminate orbital bone is certainly one of the best in the world.
