OK, so I know we all share some pretty heavy serious stuff on these boards.  Not to take anything away from those that are hurting and need our support, but sometimes we all can use a little smile and something we can all jump in on.

I'm only PT right now.  As you can see from my profile pic if it hasn't cracked your monitors, I wear a wig because not in a position to grow my hair out yet. Always had fairly short boy hair (bummer).  My wife asks if I would consider getting one of my long wigs cut and styled.  Ok ... on Saturday, the stylist at my fav wig shop sat me down and for 45 minutes she worked her magic... in a way ... it was like my FIRST GIRL HAIRCUT!!  (For those of you with natural long hair, don't laugh, my day will come when I get a real girl haircut).

So, to relieve a little stress ... what is one of your favorite FIRSTS that made you feel like a girl or guy as the case may be?  Was it buying some article of clothing? Shoes? Using the CORRECT restroom? Pedicure? Getting makeup done at a department store?  (I'm not leaving the transguys out of this, would love to hear their thoughts on something guy-ish I wish I could give up).  keep it R rated or lower please

Good for you! You sound happy. :)

I think my initiation was some of my girl friends coming over and teaching me to be a girl. Clothes, nails, attitude. One of 'em even gave me tips on keeping my vagina clean.  ;D

My first big moment was just after having lunch with two of my female coworkers and our male boss. On the walk back to work one of the women had gone ahead on her own, all the rest of us (6 or 7 people) were a big amorphous group. Everyone was walking in pairs talking and I walked far to the side by myself as always. The remaining female coworker came over by me and just started chatting. It was all so wonderful and natural. I felt so included for the first time in my life, just one of the girls! It was all I could do to not make it weird by thanking her for my first session of girl talk.

As much as I enjoy miss, the first girl talk was probably much funner because it shows your truly and fully excepted by the other woman.
