What is/was Your Post-op Reward?

What the title says. For example, I bought myself a nice white v-neck to wear once I'm back to somewhat normal, to reward all my hard work to get there, without a binder. Your thing could be a good meal, outing, purchase, outfit, etc, if you haven't given it much thought. How are you treating yourself after that big day, or how have you, if that day has already come? Just curious, as I feel it says a lot about what we're really excited for, or wish we could do, pre-op as surgery dates approach.

I bought V-Neck shirts and Tank Tops. My parents gave me a get well card and candy :p
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

Sounds like just the thing for a good recovery, that's cool your parents did that! I'm definitely excited to be rocking tank tops next summer (and maybe late this one) without the extra layer, like I have to do now.

I'm still trying to decide! I have a really hard time spending money so I always have to think about it for a long time, haha. I think I'll probably buy some white/light colored shirts and some new pajamas.

I'm also thinking about a new backpack, but that's really more for practicality's sake since I'm in college and can't use my usual messenger bag while I'm healing. Still, I'm a nerd who loves bags (they're useful and they remind me of traveling!) so I'm thinking about getting a nicer one instead of just a cheap one to tide me over. :P

Good ones, guys! I'm also considering adding a second tattoo to my "reward" pile, after I'm all healed up and once summer has passed; it's best to get tats closer to the fall/winter months, since they get less time in the sun to fade while they're fresh. I'm not sure exactly what I want, but I'm thinking something to do with a phoenix to represent change, rebirth, etc.

The thing I was looking forward to wearing the most, tank tops. It actually took me a while to remember they're called tank tops, calling them wife beaters can be a bit...awkward... ::)

I couldn't wait to buy a messenger bag to sling across my chest.  I never wore one because I hated how it looked against my female chest.  I love the look of a male chest with a bag across it.  Unfortunately, I have little reason to use one.  :(

Frank, yes, good idea to lose that violent language.  :)

New swim trunks!

haha I bought new swim trunks too but I never had a chance to go to the beach :(. Guess I'll just keep working on trying to get in shape so I can go with confidence.

It was weird for me at first, after so long of absolutely not being able to be shirtless in public. Felt kind of taboo. But now it's not a big deal. I'm really rocking the tiny, hairy hobbit aesthetic :D
