Cindy;
As I recall you "rock"in a short skirt. Mind you with all that exercise you do in the Gym (envy!!) it is not suprising
PS has anyone heard how Catherine is getting on?
Judith

Hi Judith, How are you Hon,

Catherine is good, she phoned me last week, we talk at least fortnightly and she is safe and well.

She is gainfully employed as the g-string adjuster for Magic Mike's Strip Emporium.

<if anyone tells her I said that I will totally deny it ::)>

Is everyone in NSW safe? Sounds as if you have had a battering!

Rainy and dark now in inner west Sydney.

50GB cable broadband with Telstra - includes the usual redundant home phone - about $70 a month. Do need to update it.

Is anyone on the NBN?

I got NBN about 2 months ago, wireless, it's so much better than the flakey connection I was forced to be on. Unlimited up and down. ping is solid, very happy with it.
I will touch a 100 flowers and not pick one.

Sorry I haven't posted for a couple of days, but I was in a car accident yesterday morning. I wasn't hurt, thankfully, but as you can imagine, it definitely shook me up. I was pretty terrible yesterday with lots of small panic attacks throughout the day, but I feel a lot better now. My car got completely wrecked, though, so I need to go shopping for a new one.

There goes my savings... Ah, well, c'est la vie.

So glad you are safe Hon.

Cars can be replaced.

Yes, they can. The only good thing that has come out from all of this is I'm probably even closer to my best friend at work than I was before. This friend is also the one that I came out to as transgender a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, when I rang work to let them know about the accident, my friend called me a few minutes later to say she was on her way to pick me up, despite it being her day off. And today, we spent a couple of hours (!) on the phone just chatting about everything. :)

The Aussies have landed!!! "The 70 firefighters from Australia and New Zealand who arrived at the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho..."

Record wildfire in Washington gets international, local help

Associated Press By NICHOLAS K. GERANIOS and BRIAN MELLEY

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — As Washington state's wildfires burned into the record books Monday, calls for help were answered from far and near.

Fire managers from New Zealand and Australia arrived to contribute to a ground campaign led by firefighters from across the West and augmented by U.S. soldiers

The flames that claimed the lives of three firefighters, injured four others and burned 200 homes also inspired an outpouring of volunteers who have been invited for the first time in state history to help battle the blazes.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

I'm an ex professional fire fighter. It's a seasonal job so it's good when they send us overseas to help out.

Beautiful day today - and not even spring yet! Went into town and walked past the Opera House and round the Botanic Gardens. Caught up with one of the events for Wear It Purple day in Hyde Park and had a bit of a chat.

And yes I was suitably attired, not too scarily I hope.

Some interesting comments today at work about LGBTI. Quite a few people in purple but not me.
Feel like I am hiding in plain sight.

Have to pitch to a huge client next week my new system.

Went to Telstra.

I now have a new plan $100 cheaper, cable connection and WiFi.

I asked why I hadn't been told there were better plans.

"We widely distribute the plan information on our website"

Great!!

Hi fellow Oztralyans!

It's been warm and sunny in Brissie - totally matches my mood since I worked this stuff out.  It's glorious to be alive. :D

Great!  You've chosen the best time of year to visit - just after it's too cold and wet, and just before it's too hot and wet. :)
