Fun with mobile phone companies

I decided to update my phone the other day, took my phone into the store asked for an upgrade watched as they pulled up my details and watched as the fun began. It turned out years ago when I first signed up to my plan even after I showed ALL my ID they decided to use my middle name "Luke", (As my bills where emailed to me and I never really looked at them I never picked up the mistake till now).

Shop assistant looks at my account looks at me, looks at my account again.
"Um you're going to have to bring account holder in to do this sorry"
"I am the account holder"
"No if you want this account you are going to have to bring the origional account holder in to transfer it over to you"
"I AM the origional account holder you people signed me up with the wrong name check your records"
"Sorry there is now way I can help you"Walk around the shops and a hot chocalate later I ask a different shop assistant for help. This one looks through my records sees my ID actualy match and changes my records so I can update my phone. (I ended up switching companies after the earlier service).  It funny in a way, I changed my name in March this year and forgetting about that tiny little item making sure it was up to date, came back and bit me latter on. Time to make sure ALL my records are COMPLETLEY up to date
