Hi, I am 15 year old and wish for reassignment of boy to girl. I have neurogenic bladder which means it is incontinent and need to have a diaper. Does anyone who have bladder disorder had the reassignment and can explain me there experience? Do this make it easier for manage your bladder, or do your bladder makes the reassignment complicated more? Thank you, André

It probably wont make the reassignment any more difficult, but I doubt if it will make managing your bladder any easier.

Some of us find, after surgery, that while we are certainly not incontinent, our ability to hold on for hours is no longer so impressive. I wouldn't describe myself as incontinent by any means but there have been occasions over the past 30 years when I've had the odd accident, usually in a situation where there has not been sensible access to a toilet.

Thankfully it has never been too disasterous or humiliating, but I have had several occasions when I've lost control, and inevitably ended up with embarrassing wet knickers. So I've learned that it is wise to be a lot more careful about such things as a female.

Whether that represents a major problem for you is something that you will have to decide for yourself.

Thank you. I wear the diaper all ways now so it does not sound like it will be a difference.
