I still get lots of dysphoria about my voice and I'm NEVER gendered correctly on the phone what helps anyone deal with this if they have this problem? :( I expected my voice to change a lot more than it did.

It may be something I can fix. When you speak you need to relax the muscles above the larynx and below your jaw. If your larynx moves up when you speak, you are doing exactly what we do in order to put our voice into the feminine range. Relaxing the muscles puts you into the chest voice that men normally use and can cause a sizable drop in the pitch your voice. Also you need to talk in a flatter, less expressive voice. Let me know if you have questions about this.

You might also want to record yourself when talking normally to friends and family.  It may be partly a lack in voice change but, like Dena said, it can also be partly because you are more expressive when you speak than a cis guy usually is.  I have found that the more monotone-ish you speak, the more people think of you as male.  Recording yourself while having normal conversations will help you to recognize in what circumstances you tend to talk in a less masculine way.  (Though I totally know the feeling--my voice is what I hate more than anything.  I can't STAND to listen to recordings of myself because I sound so much lower to me than I do to other people!)

Mr.Warrick

I'm two weeks on T and I just want to say I have the same fear that my voice will never change (I have a very high-pitch, unmistakable female voice).

Did yours change? But not significant enough?

The issue I am having right now is yeah, that it has changed, but not enough. I'm working on changing it myself but it's difficult :/
