Having difficulty in coming out to some of my family, would like to hear about some of the ways that some of you have taken in disclosure to close family, it would be a help.

I didn't have any other option than to come out so I picked the easiest target which was my mother. I picked a time when I knew we would be alone at home and I explained it to her. She told my father and my brother and sister didn't need to know until much latter. The family had already been through this with my sister's drug usage and as I was always well behaved, nobody worried much about it. It took a while for them to accept it but at first they figured once I was in therapy, they would fix it.
