ZINC and HRT?

I'm a pre-HRT MTF and I have an appointment set up for next week at the local LGBT center for transitioning.

I've been taking zinc supplements for about one month... 50mg/day.
I started taking it for acne and oily skin. It's helped my acne so much and my skin is not as greasy anymore but I recently found out that it INCREASES testosterone levels which is something I don't want.
This is crazy because I've actually experienced a decreased sex drive and LESS aggression, especially road rage (probably because I'm taking saw palmetto/stinging nettle at the same time)

The only difference I've noticed is more energy and the ability to walk as much as 10 miles a day around Philadelphia without breaking a sweat. Lol
My body still looks the same, body hair growth is still at the same rate, and I'm never in the mood for sex but that's probably because of saw palmetto & stinging nettle supplements.

So will my zinc supplements impact my HRT? I decided to stop taking them as of today because I'm afraid that it'll impact my HRT once I start it.

Here's a page I found about zinc and testosterone:
http://www.muscle-health-fitness.com/raising-testosterone-levels.html/

please help! I feel like I messed up so badly.... I wish I never took zinc supplements!

Also, since the zinc supplements might have raised my testosterone levels to above what's natural for me, will my endocrinologist prescribe a higher dose of spiro for me? I'm afraid that a higher dose of spiro than what I actually need will lead to big health problems  :(

You said you only took zinc for acne and oily skin. HRT will decrease skin oil (sebum) production and reduce/eliminate acne so you don't need zinc anymore. :) You also won't need the other herbs as spiro/estradiol will reduce T, increase E. :)
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004

I know! I'm excited. However, I did not expect to be allowed to transition this early so I was using herbs and zinc to make my skin better and to reduce my male urges like my sex drive, aggression, etc.

I almost feel like I made a huge mistake by adding too much testosterone to my already small/feminine body  :-\
