Hey girls!

Do any of you know a page where I can see post op mtf vaginas? I am having my surgery soon so I am curious. My surgeon uses the penile inversion way and I wanna know your experience if you had this technic. How is the dept, looks and sensation? Do you have any problems with the new genital?

Thanks :)

My PI surgery was 33 years ago. My depth is still about 5.5 inches. I am still a virgin but I think the sensation should be fine. As for looks, My surgery was a two stage surgery with the second being a touch up. I could appear nude in a locker room with other women and there would be no questions. Because I haven't had the second procedure, a close up examination would be spotted right away.

As for pictures, some doctors have web sites with examples of their work. Others may be able to show you pictures in to office or possibly through email. I suggest you ask your doctor if you can see some of his work.

I've got some links to photo's but there's probably not a lot of point unless its the same surgeon. And I never heard of a Finnish one. Also can't post it here.

She is finnish. Not very known.

You might ask around in transgender boards of your country.
There also might be support groups.

And you might have a look at the link there:
https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,193632.msg1728611.html#msg1728611

There were a few reviews of experiences with Brassard, and other north am. surgeons who use a modified penile inversion.
You might look them up.
People usually are content with depth and sensitivity.

But imo it would be good to ask people who had a procedure with this surgeon .

I think you can see the results on the surgeons websites...in Thailand you can look up PAI, Chettawut and Suporn plus others..but they only shoe their best results ....
When we first start our journey the perception and moral values all dramatically change in wonderment. As we evolve further it all becomes normal again but the journey has changed us forever.

Well Chett shows not only the best results, as far as I read he said there are also other results so people are not disappointed .

Both Chett and Suporn do not use penile inversion.

They all use a form of penile inversion... that's their marketing gimmick.. I have seen their results personally and PAI, Suporn and Chettawut are all similar. I will challenge anyone that says otherwise ....I have seen the results visually on post op girls done by all three ..

Here its written what Suporn uses for what:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suporn_Watanyusakul

"Dr. Suporn's method differs from most MTF SRS in that he does not use the penile inversion method. He instead constructs the vaginal canal with scrotal skin and uses the penile tissues for the labia, clitoris, and other external features. A full thickness inguinal (groin crease) skin graft is used for the vaginal lining in cases where inadequate scrotal skin is available."

Basically with a very basic penile inversion there might be a bit of a stretched look to the area above the vulva ..
which might not matter much, there is also a lot of variation in cis girls ...

Well visually its another matter.
Its all supposed to look like a certain outcome  :)
But there are differences for surgeons imo ...
thai surgeons tend to produce more generous labia ...
north amer. surgeons more a tidy labia look ...

thats why imo asking some people for outcomes of the finnish surgeon might be of advantage ...

Depth is perfect.

Looks are OK. Looks like a VJ, but considerable differences from a cis woman's. Look here for details: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php?topic=171501.0

Sensation is fine, though no orgasms yet. I'm looking into whether this is a hormone problem.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Penile inversion North America - Mine has a tidy look.  Lovers say it looks like average vagina...for 47 year old?  Sensation is good...no numb spots. Penetrative sex is fun, no depth issues...yet.  No out of the ordinary odors at this time.  No orgasm yet but lack desire to seek one. Thankfully, peeing has problem free.  Rather bizarre to sit down for the first time and not know what will happen.
Dilation, what's that?  :P  Once a week sex or no sex...maybe twice a week no sex.

Bathing suits can be tricky.  Camel toe tends to show.  Consequentially, I wear only dark (black, burgundy) suits.

Thank you,
Anne

Sorry, not true.  I had mine at Dr. Chet's, and I can assure you that he does NOT do penile inversion.  The end results may look similar, but the surgical methods are very different.

I've noticed the same thing, Ann.  The vestibule of my vulva is set in deeper than that of most natal women.  I assume this is because of the void that is left when the base of the penis (corpus spongiosum) has been removed.  The depth of the vestibule (and the final appearance of the vulva) will depend on the male anatomy that is the starting point for the vaginoplasty.  Fortunately, there is a lot of variation in the appearance of natal women's vulva, as well.

Thank you girls for answering!

I've seen one (3months old) vagina made by the finnish surgeon. It didnt had any visible scars, was very moist and overall looked good but I am a bit worried about the clit. It wasnt under the hood but inside if you know what I mean. Esthetically it wasnt on the right place imo. Hard to explain but she could have orgasm and get wet easily. The problem with her was the shallowness. Also here you dont have to dilate at all for the first month because they dont want the scar tissue to expand. I am worried about the dept tbh :/

You might ask the surgeon if more depth with skin grafts would be possible.
Another possibility would be a revision for more depth with another surgeon.
In thailand it might be available from 5k  usd, or with other surgeons.

And another possibility would be to talk to health insurance.
If you tell them a surgery in thailand for example would be from 9k usd and you would keep it confidential if they cover it ...
which would be cheaper than in your place, and waiting times might be less.

And a further possibility might be private addons for insurance ... there might be plans possible where parts of a surgery abroad might be covered.

Thanks again Laura!

The surgery here is covered so basically I dont have to pay anything. Thats why the insurance companies dont like to cover it for you if you go to another country.

I am seriously considering taking a loan and going to Thailand but I dont know if that is a good idea specially with my university loan ??? :(

Its people working in those companies.
You could talk to them.

If its clear you keep it confidential and they can save a lot it might be possible they think about it.
In other countries there were people who agreed.

You might also argue the procedure in other countries is more modern, which you usually have a right to.
Usually people have a right to up to date treatment.

Which might also be incentive by the way to send surgeons abroad to be trained by very experienced surgeons.
Sometimes surgeons in smaller countries would like to but aren't sponsored.

Not only have I seen but consulted with Chettawut in Bangkok. It's a form of penile skin inversion...or what do you call his method ...the Chett method???.. if you use even a portion of the penile skin for the vagina it's a penile skin inversion. The top surgeons all use the scrotal skin for additional depth ...that does not change what their method is called..just visited two girls at the Vertical Suites so I know his work well.
