I'm celebrating "Michelle Is Single Day" today. It's going well so far...



I'm pretty much going down the "things you aren't allowed to do" list and doing them.

I also made an appointment to get my brows done. [emoji78]

Well, my concise guide to why I am happy this work week.

1) I got to ride on my companies' float in the San Francisco gay pride parade, as a woman.  Was very cool.

2) Went shopping!

3) Met with my group's boss and he already knew and has no issues about transition.

4) Again met with HR and they are fine with a transition date of August 1, 2017.

5) One of my friends got a date for her SRS and I am ecstatic for her!

I also got ma'am'd in a conversation, twice. I had a mile-wide smile for a few hours.  ;D

My wife and I got stopped on our dog walk by a female motorist who was lost and needed directions.  She said, "Excuse me, can you ladies help me?"  I was wearing women's sunglasses, a men's hiking shirt, a padded bra, women's shorts, pink striped socks and turquoise sneakers with orange laces, but no wig and no makeup. 

Yay for getting gendered correctly!  🙂

Got a call from my surgeon's office yesterday, they offered to move my surgery date up a couple of months. New date, September 12... oh my gosh, that is less than three months away, so much to do, so many ways to panic.... oh yes, hurray, only 77 more days! I don't expect to be as much of a basket case as Moni but who can tell. At least Laurie is off on the east coast hounding her and won't be around to harass me.

A lady customer said my (blue) nails were much better than hers and that's after failing her Range Rover for a badly cut tyre and a brake calliper that had a bolt missing (dangerous ) and get paid tomorrow so in my lunch break getting some ear rings to cheer myself up not that I need to after last weekend

Just found out that the KNBC report on my transition took 2nd place for LGBTQ reporting at the Los Angeles Press Association awards dinner

I got the old brows waxed, plucked, and trimmed. One more item on the Forbidden List taken care of.

Got back from work today to find my letter to start HRT on my doormat. GP appointment made... I should be starting on or very near my birthday,  now that's a present!

One of my friends mentioned that she might have something for me.  ???   Today after services at church her wife handed me a little bag and said it was from her.

They're packing for a move, and my friend decided to clean out her jewelry collection.  Inside the bag were rings, bracelets, and a dozen pairs of earrings, all hand-crafted one of a kind sort of pieces!  This triggered my 'happy crying' upgrade, and I can't wait for the ears to heal up properly so I can try some of these out.

well today my girl friend saw me today for the first time in real life dressed up and she gave me compliments and said a was pretty I know I still have a lot of work to do on that though.
