Confetti, beautiful...and I have to say, this is the very first time seeing anyone with this hair color idea.  I almost did this a long time ago, you and this style compliment each other well.  Nice, and my favorite is the one of your hair covering the right eye, classy.   Dani  P.S.  Hmmm, I just read that your hair is a lace front?  I'm not up on many things so I don't know what that is  :)

Thankyou Sso much Dani, I really needed that today  :( :-*
A lace front is a type of wig which gives a much more realistic hairline and parting so it looks less wiggy, thats all!
I love the colour too!

I figured I'd finally post some photos of myself on these forums...  I'm 5 months HRT.  I'm planning on getting some FFS done in the next few months, for my brow and adam's apple.  And maybe my jaw, which I think is too wide, although it doesn't bother me quite as much as the other two masculine features.

Why FFS? Because you think you need it to pass or just because you aren't happy with your features?

To be fair she does have a bit of a saggy eyes, but that's probably just attributed to her ethnicity. But I think the only thing she could go for that would help her appearance is maybe something with the eyes. She has such a great smile, but the way her eyes make it seem droopy. Not hating or nothing just giving my opinion. But for the most part I'd say without FFS your looks can kill because your so gorgeous!

I pass most of the time, but I just have this nagging feeling that sometimes I don't, and I think it's partly due to these features.  It's certainly a hit to my self confidence to see these masculine features in the mirror every day.  Maybe it's not as obvious from the photos, and my brow bone doesn't protrude THAT much, but when you see me close up or from the side, it's definitely noticeable.  And my adam's apple really becomes visible anytime I tilt my head to the side or upward.

Emily, women have Adam's apples, they're just not as prominent. And trans women are always the first to see male features in themselves. Try to make note of the cis women around you to see if they have those features, too. But in any case, do what makes you happy.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

I can see why your brow bothers you. But my god, have you ever seen Robbie Williams wife? Google exactly that - it's unreal. Yours is nowhere near that level. Ayda Field. Google her - that's a brow and a half.

I think you look elegant, and I'm a bit of b so I really wouldn't call you that if I thought otherwise.

If your Adam's apple bothers you, get it shaved off. I'm having mine done, I see no point in waiting, particularly for things like that which do not change. I bet with the odd tweak like that, you'd be really happy with yourself, and so you should be because you have a delicate elegant face. If you have a 'nagging feeling', you're within your rights to fix it without thinking 'well someone else thinks I could just compromise, or sit around hoping for things that never happen to happen'.

Thank you so much!  That's exactly my style and the way I like to express myself - simple but elegant.

And thank you to everyone else for your nice compliments!  I really appreciate it!  As for my eyes, yes they are kind of droopy, but Asian eyes tend to be that way, so I'm not going to do anything to surgically change it.  :)  One thing I could have done to help perk up my eyes was to curl my lashes, but I'm having a tough time finding a good lash curler to do it.  I recently ordered a Shiseido lash curler, which tends to work better with Asian eye shapes, so hopefully that will help.

I had never heard of her before, but I see what you mean.  She's still undeniably very beautiful, even with her brow.  But I don't know of any Asian women who have a pronounced brow.  Sames goes for the adam's apple.  While those features are not totally uncommon in white cis women, they are completely absent in all Asian cis women, AFAIK.  I'm mostly comparing myself to what other Asian cis women look like!  :)

You're welcome.

Yes, I noticed the word 'droopy' and it's charming sister 'saggy'. Im sure it was just clumsy language and as you say, it applies to a third of the world so it's nothing to be commented on. Shiseido is a great brand. I like the Ibuki cleanser.

I thought I'd point her out anyway, it might help you and others. But yes, cultural context is important and East Asians do generally have more delicate features, so if it helps you to feel happier, I wish you all the best having it corrected to something you feel more confident about.

I dont think the eyes need work at all. The adams apple not really. I would make the brow a priority and stop there.

Instead of the other stuff maybe breast augmentation.

Ashey

How about we stop giving unsolicited 'advice' on everything we think needs to be changed on her. One could interpret that as projecting one's own insecurities on another....

Yes, I agree with you on the brow.  But actually my adam's apple bothers me more than my brow.  I still intend to get both done though.  :)

As for breast augmentation, I'm wearing a B-cup bra in the photos, with one of those $20 silicone bra inserts I bought at Amazon to help fill out the bra.  Hopefully I can get up to a B-cup with enough time on HRT, but I don't know if I want to go bigger.  There are some styles of clothing that actually don't look good on large-breasted women, and I enjoy wearing those styles.  :)  And again, relevant to my ethnicity... Asian women tend not to have large breasts.

Thanks Ashey, I appreciate the support!  :)  But I'm happy to hear others opinions on my looks, as long as it's not intentionally hurtful (and it hasn't been so far).  That's why I posted my photos in the first place!

My new house.

Cute!  You look like you're skinnier than me, and I thought I was slim!  Where in Korea is your house?  I'm also 100% Korean and was born in Busan, lived in Daejeon until I was 5, and then moved to the United States where I've been living since.

Judging from your photos, you pass well. But remember that it is impossible to pass 100%. Yes. You may pinpoint some masculine features in your own images, but people do not pay much attention to them. Overall appearance, gesture, behavior and above all self-confidence are the most important.

I think you look great Emily and getting FFS would just be a waste of time and money, not to mention the pain and recovery time

It would probably be better to let the HRT work it's magic for a couple of years and then decide from there

I live in Jeju island, but frequently travel around the mainland and the world.
About 2 weeks ago, I visited the DC area of the states.
