I got called for jury duty on Friday. I was hoping to get excused but I didn't get called to the box until right before the court broke for the day. I was feeling pretty good about the way I was looking.

Jeez Jess! You look fantastic!!

I don't know how to post pictures here but I added a few new pics to my Instagram. First time doing makeup in 7 months is a bit of a train wreck lol. Let me know what u think.

This is with no makeup for comparison

You're really pretty!  It's impressive how straight on that second picture is.  You really don't seem to need angles to help you look feminine! [emoji4] I bet a complimentary outfit would look great on you with that makeup.

Thanks Amanda is very nice of you to say 😀 We have similar unruly eyebrows, I'd love to get them threaded more feminine but haven't plucked up the courage yet.  Is the first time I have put on make up in 7 months. Been too busy studying and looking after my son to have time.

I need to go to Mac to get some lessons and I need a haircut. If I was to transition properly I'd get FFS asmy forehead is massive *sigh oh well...

@amanda I should of put some decent clothes on. That would of been fun. Though I have the knack of buying clothes that are the wrong size. Most of my Womans clothes I think are slightly too small for me. I noticed when I try on Womans clothes very often is hard to get decent feedback from the sales ladies on whether the clothes fit or not maybe they feel awkward.

I'll try to post my worst pics for you so you can see how bad some of my photos can bee😊
I have a broken nose so my nose is not straight lol

Do you have more pics?

very pretty, but how is this giving hope to mid 20 transitioners if your changes are mainly do to plastic surgery. Yea it gives hope to transitioners who have money, but not the poor transitioners who have no other options than to rely on hormones to make us pass. Plastic surgery would help anyone pass so there's no way you can compare  other people's transition to yours because not everyone has the funds for the surgerys that you have gotten.

Thank you

I know, transition is hard and its so easy to vent  :-\ .   There is one thing to remember : Hormones are giving discrete and slow changes and you cant expect hormones alone to make you "cis passing".
"Plastic Surgeries" wich are referred to Facial Feminization Surgery when it comes to transition is an important step just as SRS is . Most will say I didnt require it, i would had good result anyway and I was passable after 3 month on hormones ( before surgeries ) but there is no cost to feel like your real self .

To awnser to  " im poor I can't afford" . Really ?! Just do what you have to do if you truly want it. I didnt have money , i didn't get help from family and government . I did what I had to do to get the money . Am I proud of what I did to earn this money ? No but this was only for a few months , now I have all life ahead to be happy and never experience dysphoria again . This is a sacrifice that worth its pain . Do I still owe money ? YES, im still in debt of 12 000$ . I won't be able to buy an house or a car for the next years but this was my choice . I believed it was possible , I had hope and I did everything I had to do to get there .

So yes there is hope, with FFS of not ,  my transition is a success .

Just like " I am jess ",    is her transition success unachievable for 50's because she had full FFS ? No

No, there are cases that even with any surgeries they will never reach the "passable" stade .   I can compare my transition to anyone because again, saying that " i am poor i will never have the funds" is totally false. Its a matter of doing efforts and being ready to do anything to get it.

If i cant compare to other people then who can i compare to ? Would that mean to create categories with trans?  Passing Trans , unpassing Trans,  post FFS, post SRS.. No.. we are all trans and we are all Humans.

You are very pretty too Angelique Lacava.  I dont think you even see it.  ;)

Lol I'm sure we all have some bad photos.  But I say don't worry much about your forehead and nose.  My most "masculine" looking features are probably my large nose and hands, as well as those thick eyebrows.  But fun fact, I get all of that from my mom, and I look a lot like her.  So that's definitely not going to be the reason I feel too manly.  I feel it's important to remember that very few women(including cisgirls) have every feminine looking feature.  We're all different, and the important thing is doing what you feel is right for you.

...more pictures you ask?  Sure
there's me comfy and cozy... here's one that I consider to be just barely guy mode

And a couple of my favorites...

Well here is my progress. I've NEVER shown anyone my pre pics, so know I don't do this lightly. but I feel its important for this thread.  I'm only on blockers, I've been waiting 4 years to get in the GIC and have only just started being seen. Yes I'm very poor, I've got to wait another 3 months to get in the hormone clinic, but you know what? I feel fabulous! No surgery, just a lil wait gain, good makeup, nice hair and a very supporting partner (pictured, 5 years now!) I pass no problem, never give up and believe in yourself!

Don't let anyone ever dull your sparkle!

Always love your pictures Amanda.  First one in this set is they only one I've seen where I see more masculine.   You mentioned your eyebrows, have you ever  had them threaded? Hurts like hell, made me cry, but shaped great so I know exactly where to color them with the eyebrow pencil.

No one has noticed the difference  when I'm in male mode. Mine are a little lighter in color than yours though.

Amanda, is that really a guy mode ?  Fail for sure ;)  . A constructive advice i could give you is to work on your eyebrows. Having them thick naturally doesnt mean you cant pluck and trim them  ;)

Thank you so much!  [emoji1][emoji170] Unfortunately that really does function as guy mode.  Perhaps that demonstrates how well some people can ignore change.  I took that picture just before an outing with my wife and best friends, and from their point of view I'm a nerd/hippie type new age guy, so painted nails or wearing "guy-liner", a "man-bun", and skinny jeans totally goes without notice.  It's great that they're not judging me; but the occasional mention of me as "He" or as a man is still frustration.
...idk, maybe I will start plucking my eyebrows. Lol

Hi Archlord,

You look awesome in all your pics even the early ones.  I for one am quite jealous.

Do you have a list of all the FFS you've had done.
