Thank you MissG for your kind words. I try to not let my age affect me too much. Generally people are shocked when I tell them how old I am. It's kind of fun to get carded in order to be able to order off the senior menu at Denny's.   It's great to see what you look like.

Sometimes you can find some really fabulous items of clothing at Goodwill or other thrift shops. I found this cute leather top unused with the original price tag still on it at a thrift shop. I think I paid $15 for it. It goes really well with the blouse I found at the Nordstrom Rack.

What a GREAT dress, Ashley! I don't look good in that color red, but otherwise, that is exactly the kind of number that looks good on me, also. Very nice, and those legs, wow, very nice, perfect to show off under great dresses like that one, and it doesn't hurt your 'look' a bit that you are a gorgeous woman, either! I'm going to need a nice spring day for that one!!!...  Still pretty cold here by the ocean but warmer weather gets closer every day!!!.... I'm just an old lady (I will be 56 this year :-/)...but

Lol, I have been around the block a few more times than I will ever admit, too, ha ha! Tomato-y reds make my skin look orange-y, but deeper reds, tinged with blue, like blood red, can really pop on me. Or reddish purples, or even some wine or burgandy-ish shades. Rose pinks or raspberry are the most flattering for day wear, but yeah, blood red evening dresses, mmm, yes, yes...

Awesome shoes, too, very sexy! :-)

To be honest, in some ways it's easier to pull the look off when wrapped up warm, as it's easier to make the bodyshape look more natural...
