Selfie suggestion: Get the camera as far from your face as possible, and hold it at about forehead level or even higher. Then use the 'zoom' or post-photo cropping to close in on your face. This lets you avoid the funny effects that the cellphone cameras have on images, a thing common to wider angle photos where features get distorted.
I'm a complete wig freak, with five of the silly things on my dresser right now. Two of my fave everyday go to style, so I can wear while the other one is washed and dried, and a variation with slightly longer straighter hair. Then I have an older grey one that matches my remaining alopecia-ravaged head, which I wear when I want to avoid being noticed at all. (Nobody looks closely at grey-haired old ladies!). Finally I have an old souvenir from cosplay, for my favorite anime character (Motoko Kusanagi, FWIW).
Congratulations on getting out there and getting a pro to help you through the selection process. I hope it was a fun experience for you. You should certainly be very happy with the result.
