Sebby and the truth-brigade melted a few delicate snowflakes who cried to the mods and instead of telling them that they have the right to speak their honest opinion on the matter they mollycoddled the poor individuals (who probably drove up Kleenex sales by 7.4% alone) and simply deleted the entire thread.
Actually Sebby wasn't active when that happened and while I didn't pull the thread, I fully agreed with the decision to pull it. Often when a thread is removed, it's not because of a member complaining but the staff getting disgusted with whats going on in the thread. As a moderator, I can see stuff that the regular member can't. The big item is accounts that are put up for deletion but the trash bin and moderation log also tell stories that others don't see. This site exist to help people and not harm them. If you disagree with this point of view, there are other transgender web sites that aren't as heavily moderated and you are permitted to tear others to pieces. That will not be permitted here and violations of TOS 5,9,10 and 15 will be called if you attempt it.

This discussion is over with so now return to the theme of the thread or I will start pulling posts as a violation of TOS 2

Quote from: Devlyn Marie on May 21, 2017, 05:17:43 PMNow, shoo, all of you  judges, and leave us fabulous people alone.

Y'know Devlyn, we may never wind up besties, or agree on a plethora of issues, but I must say... I honestly respect you more than you realize.  Almost 24,000 posts dedicated to our (yes, OUR... I'm still trans, regardless of assumed b*tch status haha) struggles in this society.  I honestly appreciate your time and effort to serving this forum.  It's much more than the vast majority of us could give.

TOS 2, TOS 5, TOS 9, TOS 10, TOS 15... all these are... wait I don't even know.  What non-moderator has actually looked these up and been like "Whoah!  I was going to do this, or post this, or comment about this, but golly gee willakers, it might infringe upon TOS 9!!!

I mean, c'mon now...

Oh, btw, YOU ALL LOOK FABULOUS!  I truly hope that sentiment placates the moderators :icon_chuckel: :icon_chuckel: :icon_chuckel:

Carry on with your regularly scheduled programming.

I'll be honest about the gender marker, I put it on there when I first joined in 2010, and considered myself an occasional crossdresser (also still on my avatar). I was simply beside myself with the concept that by selecting that "F" everyone here would respect that line in the sand and refer to me with female pronouns. I never updated it, it's kind of my roots.

It's posts like that that fuel me to do it.  :)  Thank you.

Hahaha. I needed a good chuckle. Thanks! And also, thank you for the compliment. You most certainly can wish :-)

For the record if donor hair follicle transplants were a thing, I'd definitely consider it. I have donated locks of hair in the past. I used to grow it out, and then cut it all off- repeat. Though it would seem my hair has gotten kinkier over the years if that's possible...

I Am Jess

I frequently shop my pictures to make them a little better. I want my images to look the best that they can. I have taken a lot of pictures over the course of the last 2 years to document my transition.  Most of the ones I've publicly posted have something done to them. I use the Photoshop Express app for the iPhone. With that I can make minor adjustments to contrast, color brightness and clarity. I would say it can take 10 years off your age but that's just the effect that estrogen has had on me.....  here's a sample of what shopping a pic can do. The one on the left is the raw image and the one on the right is the shopped one.

I just arrived at the OBX for a weeks vacation at the beach and found this fabulous hat at a roadside fruit and vegetable stand. Yep....shopped

Love the smile and the curls. 😊 Your hair is even more curly than mine. Just wondering, have you ever tried to straighten it? I have thought about it for me. The hair dresser straightened mine when I got it cut. (Almost traumatizing in itself) It took her over 45 minutes. I only spend 5 minutes on my hair a day. Get it wet in the shower, towel dry it a little, put a little oil on it to keep down the frizz and then diffuse on cool for two or three minutes. I like that it is so easy and comes out the same every day. I loved the way my hair looked that one day and I would like to be able to do that myself. Everyone said that I looked like my mom, my one aunt kept calling and messaging me all day."I just can't believe it!" I don't really remember my mom when she was younger, we never got to know each other until I was an adult. She was pretty and even if I can't be pretty, I could have that connection with her. She passed away two months after I started hormones, she hadn't woke up since going into the hospital 3 weeks before I started HRT. I never told her. I wanted to wait even when I saw her that week she went int the hospital she seemed fine and I was so close. Meh, doesn't matter. Point is, sometimes I think that I would like a straight hair day. 😊

Don't you hate how much longer it takes to LOOK like it has any kind of length at all? 😊 Three an a half years with that one little trim and finally my hair is down to my areola when I am in the shower. When it's dry it only goes to about 2 inches below my collar bone though. Grr! Stupid curls! Haha, sounds like I am complaining. 😃😃 I like my hair, just sometimes I wish... Look at how nice and straight her hair is! Or, Look how beautiful Brooke's curly hair is. The grass is always greener I suppose.
