Newcomer, but not early.

Hello everybody!

I was recently pointed here from a forum with a slightly different focus, and I figured I should at least introduce myself.

I go by Voldine on most Internet forums I frequent, but that isn't even close to my name. I'm thirty-three, and since last June (nearly thirteen months, wow) I have been on spironolactone twice daily. May 18th I was put on estrogel, a topical estrogen prescription.

Since May 20th or so I have barely been able to stop smiling. On June 22nd I had blood drawn prior to a (sadly rescheduled) endocrinologist appointment. The serum estradiol level was already 159 pg/ml.

I'm a pharmacy technician, and everyone at work already knows and is supportive. My entire family knows, except for one niece, and they are also supportive.

I hope to have something other than a simple introduction to share in the near future.

Nice to meet you Voldine! I am so excited to meet another 33 y/o on this journey. I wish I was as out as you are. I am bit of a geek and a nurse by trade. I wish my staff were more accommodating towards the trans community, but I digress. I just finished my last counseling session and have my HRT appt in the next few weeks.
