I am 15 years old and will probably start HRT at the age of 17 since you have to live your life as a girl for a year. I will start this in december since I have to do voice training etc. to pass a bit and so it won't be so awkward. But I am really scared that my hip bones and my cheek bones won't grow anymore at the age of 17. I have heard so many different ages where they wouldn't grow anymore and don't know at what age they really stop growing. Can anyone help me out?

Welcome to forum. Everyone is different but between 17-18 is the rough cut off time. Once the bones "fuse" that is pretty much it for additional growth though.

This doesn't sound good since I don't have any hips at all. I really wanted them to grow so they match my shoulders a bit. Is there really no chance?  :(

Hi Cheriika  :icon_wave:

Welcome to Susan's  :)  Glad to have you here, join on in the fun

You are at a great age to start your transition, I wouldn't worry too much as HRT generally doesn't have much if any effect on bone growth and most people continue to grow well into their 20's

Most people don't really notice the later growth because it slows down and isn't as obvious as the growth experienced during a person's teenage years

Everyone is different but most likely the HRT will cause you to gain a rather feminine face and body shape

Here's a few quick links we ask all new members to read to help you along

Welcome to Susan's Place. While a larger hip bone is nice, much of a woman's shape comes from fat on the butt and on the upper legged. My largest measurement below the waist is at the crotch and much of that was put on as the result of HRT. A secondary consideration is often if you are not overweight, you can lose fat at the wast making you hips look bigger relative to the rest of your body. This process takes time and it may take several years to see the final results.

One thing I noticed being around some very physically fit women is that hip size in their case is not really all that noticeable with clothes on.  With overweight women the hips become much more pronounced.
