You can't spot reduce. It doesn't work that way. If it did, you'd see people walking around with plastic wrap around their stomachs all the time.

When losing weight, most AFAB people will lose it from their chest or their butt first. So losing weight could help reduce the size of your chest, but depending on how big it is, it may or may not be enough. Surgery is what most people end up needing. The benefit of going the surgical route is that you could be completely flat and your nipples could be resized.

Do not put plastic wrap around your body when workin out. It'll cause you to overheat and has no benefits apart from making you ill. Your friend is probably just luck enough to be an A cup and with some workouts he was able to make the lumps less visible. Sorry but surgery or a binder are the only options.

I'll have to agree, as someone who doesnt weigh much overall body fat is typically proportional to chest size, I weigh 108 pounds (and somehow its a healthy weight because I eat a lot) and Im lucky enough to have a small chest size because of it,

I hear building chest muscle helps to hide and reduce the appearance of breast tissue, so applied with already smaller chest size its quite possible your friend just managed to hide them, mostly.

Sometimes, pre-top surgery trans guys with a small chest (A cup) are able to do a lot of chest exercises to build up the pec muscles. This can make them have a "passable" chest. A YouTuber I watch did just that and his chest basically looks like he just has a little bit of gynecomastia.
Building up the pec muscles can really help, but it really depends on the individual.

It's totally true that you can only loose weight in general and not target a specific spot. The whole idea of wrapping up a part of the body is based on the idea that heat helps burn fat, it's the same principle of many useless pills and creams that you see advertised. Wrapping up something just makes you sweat, you don't loose fat but water: this is what competitive gymnasts do to shed even the last grams of unnecessary body mass, but it's a dangerous game. Dehydrating yourself is never a good idea.

If I recall correctly breasts are made from 30% to 50% of fat, so losing weight is totally an option. Building up pecs on top of it can totally help too.

I believe Ty Tuner (the Youtuber, unless we´re talking about different Youtubers) had a B cup... you can look up his video, all you need is some barbells, and do a chest workout.

It might work. But they won´t disappear completely. Agreed with the above on not wrapping yourself in plastic.

Omg I have checked this guy's videos, I'm super happy. Let's work out.

I hadn't come across Ty Tuner's videos below  - cheers for sharing, very inspiring.
