On a friday night against racked nerves and sense of impending doom, I finally came out to face book. I had gradually let friends and family know, well to be honest I told two people and it spread like wildfire, but had been hiding from the public. Surprisingly I only had positive feedback and support. I figured that at most I would have some people unfriend me, but the opposite happend I had friends of friends and people I hadn't talked to in years tell me that I had there support! I'm finally being myself!

Things are going good like they never changed at all.  It's still strange though, I ran into an old band mate today. I was dressed out and I hadn't seen him since I came out. He acted like everything was normal and for some reason I acted weird, like I was nervous and wanted to hide. I don't know what came over me and why I acted like that, but I feel like I should text him and apologize for my weirdness.

I like your prioritization. While most other gender defining traits can dealt with easily enough, facial hair is the one biggie that you pretty much have to conquer to really appear in the girl club, I think. It won't be cheap or pleasant, but once it's behind you you'll doubtless be much happier with yourself. Good luck.
