I am soon to start hrt in 2017 but I still use my penis when iv the urges to and then feel guilt afterwards or think about doing dominanting things with it that makes me uncomfortable because I don't want to have a penis but think that at the same time ??? Anyone got any ideas why that is or how it would shift? Do you become more submissive I'm a virgin so I'm not aware fully

I've been on HRT for 7 month. My sex drive is way down compared to pre-hrt, but usually I can still get an erection if I if I exercise it. YMMV

This is definitely a YMMV (your mileage may vary) situation.  Some people do lose both drive AND function while others don't.  I'm 2 1/2 months into Spiro which reduced my drive and need (not desire, just my need) for "release'.  I'm on E (injections) now in my 5th week and function is GREATLY reduced.  I have not had a spontaneous erection in a few weeks.  With a LOT of coaxing it will get semi-hard, but I definitely don't miss it like I expected I would.

It may come back. I lost function for a while and then I regained it. Most of the time I can be stimulated into wanted sex, but recently my drive increased enough that I felt like I really wish I had someone to have sex with right now. It has since passed.

I'm definitely one of the strange ones: Drive and functionality still works no problem at all even though I've been doing HRT for more than a year and blood measurements show that I'm clearly in the female range.  I suppose it goes to show that everyone is a different.

I suspect that long term the lower libido/increased difficulty effect is progressive.  More often than not all those estrogen molecules are not real friendly to male parts.  It's sort of the anti-Viagra.  But I doubt you will be seeing those commercials on cable any time soon.

I've been on HRT for 4 months now, and my libido/sex drive is way down. However, I can still have an erection if I stimulate myself, and sometimes I have the need to do so. I guess it depends from person to person.

Hi Fuchsia Lipstick!

Perhaps you shouldn't think about this so much. Of course your life is going to change, but it can be GOOD. Instead of wondering what to expect, live in the moment and before you know it, you're there.

Yup, I've been on HRT for over a year now. My male sex drive, as testosterone made me feel, is gone. It has slowly been disappearing for a while now, but it has also been replaced by a female sex drive. Which is awesome :)

So, I can't wait for SRS which is still 8 months down the road.. The point is: it can be done, and it can be good!
