So back in November I had my t tested which was under 700, and my e was 33.

But, back in December I had an IUD placed which was the copper kind, and it ended up expelling and my dr told me I could remove it. I had it for about 3 weeks.

My dr told me that being on this may cause me to have periods again due to it making periods worse for cis females. So now I'm wondering is this from me, or from the IUD?

I also do my shot every Friday, but lately I've just been doing it on saturdays because I've been doing closing shifts at my job. 2 weeks ago I did it on a Sunday but I don't believe that would have any effect.

One day change in your T cycle shouldn't affect you that much and I know after several years, guys can sometimes experience spotting or one period, but if this is a thing that's happened more than once, I would be concerned. It could likely be from the IUD but I would also ask to make sure it isn't anything else. Particularly if your levels haven't been checked since this started happening. I feel like it's almost certainly the IUD but I would definitely consider seeing your doctor again. Being on T this long wouldn't be responsible for cycles happening multiple times. It could also possibly be related to how T does change the muscles and stuff down there and causes atrophy, perhaps that changes how the IUD is affecting you?

This is the first time it's ever happened to me. When I got the IUD inserted I had slight spotting but that's normal for it. I mean I guess the IUD  causes mucus or the lining to build up to prevent sperm from reaching an egg. But I'm hoping this is the only time it's going to happen. I haven't had any other changes, the IUD did cause me a lot of pain for the first two weeks, and after it started coming out I just took it out completely and I've felt better. I'm just hoping this'll be a one time thing due to the IUD. I might consider getting the hormonal one next time I see my dr.

I've read the copper ones cause a lot of pain for cis females and extremely heavy periods.

But other than the IUD I haven't had any other changes to my daily life.
