Yes, sometimes the only thing I used was moisturizer with spf and translucent powder to tone down the shinyness.

Sometimes.  It depends on where I am going.  If I am going nowhere, then no makeup.  Work: makeup.  Walmart: don't care.  The mall: makeup.  Out with my wife: makeup.
Some people say I'm apathetic, but I don't care.

The only makeup I wear daily is mascara as it gives a boost to my big eyes I love. I used to wear a lot of makeup but it ruined my skin (especially Foundation) and now after my skin care routine, my skin has become very smooth nad soft and I wouldn't it any other way. When I am going out, I use eyeliner, lipstick or lip gloss, mascara and maybe blush. But never Foundation. I hate it.

I may wear makeup once a month but it's probably closer to every other month. Eyeliner, mascara and lipstick, I've never used anything else. I want to learn, I mean it would be great to look fabulous now and then. Just when I am looking at the videos it seems like a lot of work and effort to learn something that I may use once a year.

Mostly I wear makeup when my boyfriend isn't paying enough attention to me. Put it on before we go out and all is right as rain with my world again. Whether it is because he notices me then or he notices other guys looking at me more, it has the desired effect.

I find it hard to go out with no makeup. Feels like I'm kinda naked. It's amazing the effect that an invisible layer of foundation can make to your mind.

Having just started HRT and Electrolysis, no I am most definitely not comfortable going out without makeup.  I'm hoping that as the hormones do their thing and I get through these initial rounds of electrolysis that my pores will shrink and my face will soften to a point where I don't need a makeup mask to make my face appear feminine.  But for now, the only way I go out is with full face makeup.

I generally don't go out without my usual makeup.  Ten months of HRT, and 87 hours of electrolysis done, but thats not enough.

My facial structure has a number of tells to it that need contouring tricks to get past.  That or a bag over my head...

The good news is that I am maybe 10 hours of electrolysis away from the end of shaving, at which point I won't need the industrial size concealer/corrector any more for those pre-electrolysis weekends.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Opt for the bag. It's a heck of a lot cheaper. I spent near $300 at Ulta.

I'm pretty comfortable without it but it definitely means i am I'm clocked more without it. I have not had facial hair removal and although my shadow is not very dark it is visible. I wear lipstick or gloss every day and something on my eyes such as mascara, liner and highlighter

I am in this mode now where i feel i have to be comfortable without it as a matter of principle. I feel a sort of militant phase coming on :)

What no magic markers available to put on your eyes, nose and mouth.  Very funny. <3

I wear makeup almost always simply because I like to.
It isn't a matter of whether I need to or not.
I always wear at least eyeliner, browliner, mascara, lipliner.
In the beginning doing makeup was challenging but one day the light bulb went on.
I realized that makeup application is like drawing and painting, two things I actually know how to do.
It has been simple ever since.
I like how I look with it on and presently it is how I want the world to see me.
It isn't about vanity, it is because I truly look better with it than without.

On going full time at work I started with some light make up before going a bit more full on a little while later. After some time I became comfortable enough not to wear make up if I didn't feel like it - this was a workplace with smart attire but not everyone made up in full every day.

As I now have a break from work I wear make up as and when I feel the need.

Had an eye infection a few years ago & stopped using it. Usually only wear eye shadow, mascara & eyeliner for the punk festival once a year, electrolysis done many years ago so no need for powder etc.Am OK without it

I went to the shops today and felt like I wanted to put some on so I wore some BB cream and lippy....normally though unless I am going somewhere makeup worthy, some BB cream and maybe mascara, really depends on what I am doing and how I am feeling.

I prefer to wear makeup when I am out of the house.  However, since I am doing electrolysis once a week, there are some days when I can only wear eye and lip colour.

I have been out for appointments as Kathy when I had a 3-day growth of beard.  I minimized it by shaving all but the part the electrologist  was going to work on the next day, but I figured that makeup would only attract attention to it.  And I have been out the day after electrolysis, when the follicles really don't want to be plugged up with foundation.  On those occasions, I just wore eye shadow, mascara and lipstick.  I can't say I looked beautiful, but I looked okay enough, and no one seemed to stare more than usual.

Being in my 60s, I can probably get away with it more than a woman in her 20s.
