So I don't know if posts like these exist already, but I was wondering what everyone's measurements were before HRT and what they are now...

I haven't started HRT yet, but my measurements are

Bust: 32
Underbust: 30
Waist: 26/27
Hips: 34

My personal ideal measurements are:

Bust: 34-36
Underbust: 28
Waist: 24/25
Hips: 36

I know this may seem unlikely (and maybe it is) but I hope since I already have a (kind of) good starting point and I'm starting HRT quite young (I'm 17, but probably won't start HRT until I'm 18 since there is a long evaluation process where I live).

so yeah! I would love to know how HRT affected your measurements! :)

I'm no expert (not even 2 months into HRT yet) but I think most of your "ideal" measurements look OK.  The only one I think is unrealistic is your underbust.  Unless you're overweight now (which from your current measurements you're not at all) I wouldn't expect to see that number drop. Your under bust is really a measurement of your rib cage and not much more if your body is fit.  There is just very little fat or muscle on the outside in that area.  So I'm not sure you'll see shrinkage there.

Sorry I can't help with any experiential information, like I said, I'm just getting started here.

Keep in mind, there are also factors built in like your height and weight. If you're tall, then your're well in the small zone, at least for me. I'd kill for those measurements.

I am 17 my measurements are as follows. Bust: 38 3/4, Underbust: 36 2/4, Waist: 35 3/4, Hips: 40 2/4, Height: 5' 7, Weight: 183 Lbs, Age: 17, I will be turning 18 in early September. I am seeing an endocrinologist this Friday as well.

I hope my underbust will get to at least 34 inches, hopefull 34 inches tops. But we'll see. Haven't started HRT and still very well over weight and have a lot of back fat and a fair amount of fat around my ribs and front. So hopefully thing'll work out. Maybe I'll have lots of hidden muscle. :o

But anyways, good luck to ya hun. Best wishes xoxo

Just started HRT but I'm not sure of my measurements.  I have no goal set to be any size.  I just want to be healthy and in shape.

Fair enough. That is a good goal.

I think your goals are realistic and achievable, but height (your frame) and activity level play a roll, at least for me.
At the start of HRT:
5'9", 128 pounds (moderate physical activity, low intake calories/vitamins/etc., drank alcohol, smoked)
Bust - 36A (inches)
Waist - 30
Hips - 32

20 months HRT:
Same height, 118 pounds (very very... very high physical activity, moderate to high intake with a conscious attempt to replace more than I spent, i.e. I eat healthy now, not frozen dinners and I don't drink any alcohol or smoke)
Bust - 34B
Waist - 26.5
Hips 33.5

The only "goal" I had in my mind at the start was I wanted 34 hips, I missed, but I also have a very high physical activity level now and most of the year that is in 100+ degree weather (fahrenheit), I don't store fat or water for long. I burn off allot more than I really should but I don't mind. I did try from about 12 months till 16 months to gain at least 8 pounds back but I just can't eat that much and my Dr says my weight is a concern but not a problem since I am healthy. Just be healthy and happy no matter what the numbers say, that's a good goal too  ;)

Okay, so when you say 36A do you mean like a 37 inch bust and a 32 underbust or a 37 inch bust and 36 underbust?

I don't add 4 (or 5) I only round up. So I was 35 3/4 under with man breasts and now I am 33 1/2 with much happier breasts. I was slightly concerned before starting HRT because I was always a swimmer (for decades) with very little fat. Even though I always was accused of and had a slight woman's body, torso and shoulders concerned me but I was ok with that. I did deliberately stop working upper body all together though just from being self conscious. I still have to do allot of pulling and moving heavy things for work but I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed the change. I see a dramatic change in my profile, much so much head on or from behind, ribs are ribs no matter how hard you squeeze them.

And for the record since I started the only thing I really measure (watch) more than once a month or even once every few months is my weight and pulse.

I measure like, every 5 minutes to hour. I guess thats cause of BDD. I am always very confused on the bra size thing too. Like some people use that and some don't so you never really know if ya know what I mean.

I am just afraid cause like right now, my underbust is roughly 36 inches. I have PLENTY of back fat, a fair amount of rib fat, and frontal fat, honestly not sure, that one is hard to tell for me. If I squeeze the measuring tape tightly, I can get to about 34 2/4. There is usually still squish on my back when I press down during measuring. (Hope that's understandable.) And honestly, idk if this works like this, but if fat is squeezed down like a lot. Does it not become very squishy and restrict itself.

I am not a very athletic person so idk about muscle in all honesty so we'll have to see :-/

Anyways, sorry for the rambling.
