I've only been on HRT for a little over a month, but I feel like I'm going to explode if I don't start living as my true self right now. All of my friends and my fiancé tell me that I look straight up like a female, but I need non-biased, honest opinions to be sure. I do realize that I need better hair/ a more convincing wig, but besides that, am I passable enough to go full-time female?

The second picture is of my right side, the side of my face that is more masculine and my biggest insecurity.

Little Witch Girl, you look hott.  You are very lucky - I'll be spending a lot more on FFS you might completely skip.  :-)

If you have started HRT at your age, I bet your hair will be exactly the way you want longer term - no worries.  Find a wig style that works (looks like you already have), then grow your hair out to match it.

"Haven't lost my belly fat yet" ha  ;) I wish I had your belly fat problem girl! Talk to us when you're middle age and have 30-40 pounds on your belly that is hard to loose. Lol.

You have nothing to worry about. You look great. You only need time and the hormones will do the rest.

One thing about pictures, you can hide a lot with angles and lighting.  My initial reaction was "wow, cute.  Definitely passing." I still believe that.  But due a truer picture, take a few straight on from the bust up.

That will show a better view of nose and eyes.

BTW, IMHO, you pass way better than I do and I'm full time.  I've learned to accept being mis-gendered as it happens about 25% of the time.  (35% gendered correctly, 40% not gendered at all)

This going to be an honest opinion.

I don't mean to be horrible, but in my.opinion you are not totally passable even though.you have a lovely bone structure. Hopefully hrt will be able to feminisegive your features more softness and feminisation.

Good luck!

As I've said before, you can't tell much from a picture. Most of the photos you post "pass" on a cursory glance. Do you pass? I have no idea, I'd have to meet you and speak with you, watch your movements, behavior, mannerisms and a thousand other nuanced little things. These "do I pass" threads are rather useless for just that reason. Little can be told from a pic. I've seen plenty of pics of people I was sure were women till I saw an candid shot that revealed there was little feminine about the person.

Well, I have a pretty discerning eye for feminine beauty and I see a strikingly beautiful young woman in those photos. I'd love to wake up tomorrow and look just like you. Do work on the hair thing. Wig quality is often at the bottom of the TG priority list and I think it should be close to the top. Finding a good wig can be expensive and take some repeat purchases, so the soon the better. And certainly if you have enough hair, grow it out and do something with it. Many women wear topper pieces and extensions to fill sparse hair and succeed amazingly well with them. I sometimes wear a halo loop extension and can completely forget it's there after awhile. The most important thing is the front hairline, of course. And it's hard to find a wig that manages the temple area realistically-- even with the most expensive lines. You just have to keep shopping around.

Can I just ask what's not feminized enough yet? Just so I know and can keep an eye on those features? Thanks for the honest input.

Hey girl.

A little patience will help you. HRT will not work overnight. I agree you got great passing potential and I definitely see femininity in your pics. However, changes will take time so it's normal if you're not *completely passable* at this moment. But with time and HRT, I think not only will you pass but also look very beautiful. So, be patient and kind to yourself.
Love,
