Hi everyone!

I am 8 years post and i have never experienced this before. About a month ago I had a sexual intercourse that lasted about 45'minutes. Following the intercourse, I started experiencing a burning pain inside my vagina. It went away after about 3 days. A few days later, I spent the night at my bf' and we had sex for a couple of hours. My vagina became sore again and this time it started to get itchy in addition to the burning.pain I was experiencing. the following day. I went to see a doctor who suspected a possible bacterial infection. I was prescribed an insertable  antibacterial cream plus a ph adapted soap for daily cleaning of the valva. He also recommended that I refrain from having sex for two weeks. I had a break from sex for three weeks and today I had sex again and the burning pain came back.

I have never experienced this in the past even when I was having sex several times a day! I use more than.enough lube so it's not a question of lack of lubrication.

Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks in.advance!

It would be best if you saw a gynecologist for an internal examination. It possible that there is an injury that hasn't healed correctly and may require special care to clear up.

Has this all been with the same fellow?  Maybe it's him, not you.
What you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it.

Did he provide the lubrication? If so, that might be the culprit.

I've heard of something like this where the woman was allergic to the guys semen. They have to go to an allergy specialist to fix it.

Hi Rita,

Sorry to hear your having problems... your description brings two things to mind the first being that you were rubbed raw somewhere that you cant see... while you were probably lubed well one spot may not have been lubed as well as the others... the second being that you have a fungal infection which wouldn't be corrected by a anti-bacterial.

I agree with Dena probably the best thing you can do is see a gynecologist as they would have the tools and knowledge to address issues like this.

Good Luck I hope you feel better soon.

Hugs

Thanks for your replies. I will be revisiting the doctor this week. I suspect it.might be a yeast infection.
