Hi everyone

I haven't been on this site for very long.
I'm not very open in the public eye, all they think in public is a male walking in the women's bathroom. Everywhere I go all they can see is a man. I haven't even started testosterone. I think to myself how can this be, how can the outside of my body look like a man except for the male pieces. I look physically in the face like a boy. I feel like a man all through the years that I have grown up. It's a constant struggle to live day-to-day. Knowing that I am a female but actually a man trapped inside. I have lived over 20 years looking like this. I even started shaving at age 10. I've dressed in boys clothes almost all of my life. The only times that I would get dressed up as a girl  is when my mother made me.
I just had my first counseling session, for some reason i fekt completly at ease with her. She knew exactly how i felt. My anxiety my disphoria day by days seems like i want to leap, i want to sore like a eagle, being me for once. Not hesitating to do anything.
Monday Aug 21 will be my first HRT Appt. Aug 22nd will be my 2nd counseling session. Im excited so much!!!!!!  Crossing my fingers for my shot...[emoji7]

Congrats! You look great! It's exciting. I've been on T for about 3 months now. I can't pass at this point and really don't want to yet since I'm not out at work, but the changes so far are awesome, and I am feeling more like myself.  The myself I should be on the outside to match the inside.

Finding the right counselor is incredibly important. I finally have one who I'm comfortable with, and he's worked with other transgender people so he gets it.

Keep us updated! Jay

Hey, welcome!

I can relate a little with how you feel. I'm a lot older than you are, but until my late 30's I was easily seen as male. That was of course great because there was no need for me to take any hormones. But as I got older, that slowly changed and I started looking more female and life became a lot harder for me. The difference between how I looked and how I felt became more and more painful. To cut a long story short, it was time to get on the T train.

It's now six weeks since my first T shot and the changes keep happening for me, which is just amazing stuff.

Sounds like you are cruising along and soon you'll enjoy the benefits that T will bring. Enjoy the journey!

You'll need at least 15(?) posts before you can PM anybody. I messaged you and you should be able to respond to my message.

Welcome to Susan's Place BabyBoi. You have been keeping a low profile and nobody spotted you. As the result, you didn't receive a copy of the greeting links. Dan is correct about the 15 quality posts before your profile will unlock. We do this to eliminate spammers and people who would harm others from the site. I know it's a bit of a pain but many times I have watched new members come in making one line post in order to get around this feature. Sometimes it takes that many post to slow them down enough to spot them.

Congrats!

But I have one question.  If you're a guy, why use the ladies room?

I wasn't even in councelling yet  when I started using the mens room, and I haven't looked back!

You look pretty male to me, so I say "GO FOT IT!" [emoji2]

Welcome to the site, I'm looking forward to seeing you around!

I still have "female parts" as well.  I bind and I use a packer.  I simply use a stall, or, if the bathroom has no stalls (its only happened once so far), that's when I hold it.  I don't use a STP (yet) either.

Most men ignore each other when they piss, only talking to other men if they're friends anyway, and sometimes not even then.  Simply don't look at other men, walk into the stall like you own it, and if someone talks to you, nod in response (to hide your voice if you're pre-T).  Chances are, with your masculine look and bearing, they'll ignore you just like they do other men.

Bathroom rules for men is vastly different than for women.  Somewhere on here is another thread that talks about "how men piss," but I'm mot sure where exactly.

Here hoping you get the courage to use the men's room, and be sure to let us know when you finally do! [emoji4]

Good for you!  Keep it up!

Trust me, many of us still "have female parts" and still use the mens room.  Many don't even pass yet and use it anyways!

I know I didn't pass yet when I first started using them, and even 10 months on T later, my (genetic) baby face sometimes gets me clocked.  And then I say something like "what's up man?"  And watch the expression on their face change! [emoji23]

My voice is still changing, but having a (mostly) baritone voice helps to get you un-clocked when you're in the mens room! [emoji6]

Sounds like you have the beginnings of a deep voice, but even if you don't, you don't have to speak to some guy in a bathroom that you may never see again. [emoji6]

I have yet to have any GRS, not sure if I want to have bottom surgery anyways.  I'm currently planning on getting a STP (Stand To Pee) device a bit later on down the road, and if it works out for me, I might never get bottom surgery.  Idunno.  So many choices!
