My ribs are awfully big for my body, even if im laying down sleightly on a angle you can see parts of my ribs protruding out. I hear ribs continue to grow into the 20s but if i start hrt at 16 could they shrink? I also hear people saying its all just fats but i dont really think so in my case.... please help.

The size of your ribcage is genetic and isn't going to get any smaller short of losing whatever fat you have on top.

Also, it's normal for the ribcage to be visible on people who are not overweight.  The only reason it seems strange is because nearly everyone today is overweight.

It's normal to be able to see your ribcage. I've always been naturally underweight myself and I can see and feel my ribs protruding, it's pretty grim really but I can't put on weight no matter what I try. I wouldn't worry at all. Your ribs arent going to grow a massive amount. As your organs continue to grow your bones obviously need to accommodate that. Why is it such a stress for you?

Some people's ribs stick out and protrude and others don't. It's normal; nobodies body is perfectly symmetrical or the same.
