I was talking to my laser tech yesterday and she looked at my belly and laughed. She and I are friends basically, we get along great. She told me the hair on my belly is just like the hair that pregnant women get in the same place.
I did some research and it looks like it is quite common for pregnant women to get a bit of a hairy belly during pregnancy. Now I know that pregnant women have HIGH levels of oestrogen among other hormones.
The thing is, I never had hair on my belly like this before hormones! I feel like my oestrogen levels are too high! My body is perfect in every other way, I have a small waist, hips, and I'm 5'8". The hair is the only thing getting me down! (And obviously my genitals but that will be sorted in another 14 months).
Also before anyone asks, my testosterone is WELL under control, so it's not that.
Has anyone else heard of this happening? It's so weird that I have hair in places I never had in my life. When I was on a lower dosage of oestrogen I never had this problem either.. so that's leading me to think my levels need to come down a bit. I know my doctor aims for 'generous' levels as she puts it, which I always liked but maybe that's not such a great thing after all!
I don't want to slow down my feminisation but I also don't want hair on my body that wasn't there before! Part of me also thinks maybe I should just stick it out until SRS and by then I probably won't need to be on transitioning-dosages anymore anyway. Opinions and input are welcomed.
