Roll

Made some Balsamic Honey Cajun Brussels Sprouts and ate with some roasted chicken and gravy. Halved the sprouts or quartered big ones, into the cast iron on high with some olive oil, really get a char on the leaves, salt + pepper + cayenne, toss with some balsamic and a tiny bit of honey at first. Once cooked fully and wilted a good bit, put more hony and stick it under broiler until it really chars and caramelizes, toss them and repeat on the other side of the sprouts for good measure. Was amazing.

Ellie, that sounds absolutely AMAZING!

I'm having store bought ravioli with store bought pesto sauce and a bottle of primitivo wine.  Cooking in a hotel is kind of a pain, even when it's a hotel with a kitchenette.

Tonight I made lasagna.

@Julia1996
    I love Lasagna... how big of a batch did you make?  or do you usually make??

Even though I usually just cook for myself I make enough that I can have a couple lunches to take to my work and put in the microwave and also a larger container for another dinner later in the week...   I usually couple Lasagna with a few pieces of toasted Garlic Bread and a nice fresh green salad and my homemade Italian Dressing.

We haven't made lasagna in years! We used to have it all the time but I think we just got out of the habit for it.

I'm making chicken noodle soup for supper tonight

I had a Vietmanese rice noodle soup with cilantro, and lime.  I did not use the radishes.

Not bad.   Not great.   Pho soup.

My partner is grilling a marinated roast and serving it with broccoli and brussels, though I think I am making the sprouts, maple bacon style!  I love being in the kitchen with her as we work well together!
