I've never really been into wearing a dress/skirt and heels. Seems like the majority of those here do favor that.

I haven't gone out in public yet, but when I do I'm sure that I'll be wearing jeans or leggings. I just want to blend in.

So, am I the odd one here?

Absolutely not - Girls jeans rule :)
Seriously just wear what you feel comfortable in. I so love leggings and jeans, some say I look better in them anyway.

I love jeans and tees, it's what I usually wear, because it's usually what the occasion calls for. And that's the secret: Dress appropriately. You don't blend being underdressed in a situation that calls for something nicer, in fact, you can look uncouth.

I'm kinda into the jeans and tops thing myself.  My daughter gave me a couple of dresses and I still prefer the jeans or maybe slacks.  Did buy a pair of knee high boots on sale and they're great.

Kind of easing in on my new self.  As far as public, not yet but then again I'm still too male to do female in public for now but I think things will mellow and fem out over the next several months allowing me to be me.

Also, experiment with a little make-up, not much.  Too old to end up looking like a hooker, lol.

You aren't strange at all.  I wear skirts at home because I find them more comfortable.  But i dress to blend in when outside.  I'll wear skirts when I can get away with it.  But if I'm grocery shopping in winter, I'll rock some skinny jeans and boots.

Women's pattern jeans and t shirts/tops for me. Men's Shirts (bright colours) for when I want to make my wife a bit more comfortable. Also have some men's shorts, and my old wardrobe (which I hate!) I'd love to wear a skirt / dress but to be honest I'm not ready and really wouldn't pass well so its not worth it yet.

At present I can easily do gender neutral, or female at a distance, but close up five o'clock shadow and short hair is a give away. :( I suppose I could go with makeup to conceal and a wig, but I don't like the look. Prefer natural so the makeup I do use is fairly close to skin tones so its not obvious unless you get  really close.

The one thing I won't hide is my bright pink toe nails. That people can wonder about all they like...

You aren't odd. Most women nowadays dress in jeans or yoga pants 90% of time and many trans ladies do the same (for comfort, as well as to blend in).

I personally don't like pants en femme. I don't get into the right mindset wearing pants (even girl-pants), besides my butt is too small for a female, it's impossible to find jeans tall enough for me, tucking must be done much better than with a skirt. Why the hell to go through all of the trouble if I still cannot wear skirts, makeup, heels (what I want) and be a free spirit? Maybe it came from my mom who once said (at a young age of 50, 'I'm not a [boring] man to wear pants',  or at another time - 'when I stop wearing heels, you can    call me old'.

Edit: but, would I have the bottom surgery, nice fat redistribution into my butt, and Brazilian butt lift... I can see myself wearing yoga pants, or even jeans during cold season...

Definitely not odd.  I wore skinny jeans and girly T shirts for a year before I ever started wearing skirts and dresses.

I tend to be pretty deliberate and methodical in terms of how I do things, and I spent months watching how women wore skirts and dresses, thought about how things would look on me, and then did a lot of very picky shopping.

But now, after all this time, I love how cute an A line skirt looks over tights, leggings, or stockings.

I do enjoy wearing dresses and find them very comfortable. Heels on the other hand.... nope! Not interested. Those just look really uncomfortable and hard to move in, and I don't have any interest in wearing them. Also I do enjoy how I look in girl jeans. Skirts are definitely superior to shorts though as I like the freedom of movement and feeling the breeze around my legs.

Ultimately, it isn't about the clothes at all. It's about being able to see myself as female, and clothing is just a means to an end.

I have nothing against those who like wearing skirts. Someday, when the occasion is right, I probably will too. I'm almost 5'10" (I know that's not real tall) so I might feel a little tall with higher heels. They do make your legs look good though.

I do like the idea of a skirt over leggings. Maybe with boots?

Knee-high boots + knee-length skirt... why do you even need leggings???

I mean, I can see leggings + miniskirt, or skirt + leggings + bootie, but if your leggings are going to be covered up, why bother wearing them? Even in cold weather, you are ok without leggings (unless you depend on public transportation)...

I was thinking the short boots I have. Just above the ankles.

It would be too boring to dress the same every day! Skirt or dress one day and jeans and blouse the next for me. And some days I just grab my boy clothes. Leggings under a skirt is nice on cool days. Shorts and a cami on hot days.

I haven't been able to pass for decades and don't even try anymore.

It's funny, but as a male, I'm a tee shirt and jeans type, but my female side dresses better. Unless I'm doing an activity where pants make more sense, I'd rather wear skirts and dresses.

In addition to what I wrote earlier, I think a skirt makes a strong statement and give a solid cue how I want to be perceived.

I'm not stealth-passable, so wearing a skirt prevents questions like 'are you male or female'... or rather makes my answer easier - don't you see, I wear a skirt!

I live for people asking me if I'm male or female so I can reply with a resounding "Yes."

I am full time and have worn a dress to a formal. Other than that work cloths are a top and slacks. Short boots or flats as weather dictates. At home tops and jeans or shorts. I like some skirts but have yet worn them at work. Perhaps another new years resolution. When I exercise it is spandex bottoms and tops. In the winter I wear 3 layers of the super warm with sweat pants and thermal hoodie. I like the colored exercise gear.

I told my operations manager if he wore a kilt I would wear a skirt. He wants to wear a black utility kilt at work and I told him he could. So maybe a skirt at work soon. I discussed it with some woman at work and they recommend a skirt with leggings and knee high boots (I have a nice pair yet to be worn)

OP, you are not weird. Where what you are comfortable with.

I'll post before reading: Probably. I HATE wearing pants and boxer shorts or even briefs. My whole life I have wanted to wear a dress, heels, pink, and lacy underwear and stalkings. I don't even mind that walking for 8 hours in 3" heels is painful it feels better then it's bad and I got used to it in one day. I can see pants for doing out door stuff only. The only exception might be really short skirts in summer because I like showing off my legs. The women in my family always dressed up so maybe thats where it comes from. But I am/plan to always dress up even if it takes 2 hours in the morning I love every bit of it.

I wear dresses and skirts when the occasion calls for it, but mostly I wear jeans/pants or leggings.
With as cold as it's been lately I'm usually wearing leggings under the pants, anyway. Plus it gives me an extra layer if I'm at a friend's house and it's warmer, I can take off the pants & still be dressed.
