So, eight days ago, I ordered my first chest binder. Getting it shipped to a friend's house! It got shipped out on thursday and I freaked out when I got the notification in class. Just wondering, if you have a binder from gc2b, how long did it take for yours to get there? I'm from canada so it'd probably take longer for mine to get here, but that's really not a huge concern of mine because I'm just really excited. It's more just out of curiosity so I can help gage what would be going on when it gets here.
Also, another thing I wanted to mention- for any of you who feel extremely hopeless and like things surrounding your gender and/or dysphoria are getting worse- hang in there. About four or five years ago I'd convinced myself I was never gonna transition or get to bind or anything like that. But I mean, here I am. It took a while, but things are starting to get a little better. I never believed people when they told me it gets better and that I can find support, I thought "no that's not gonna be me, because my parents aren't accepting" and yeah, my parents still aren't accepting, but when you accept yourself and seek help outside of your parents, things start looking up. Yes, it takes a while. Yes, it's a long and painful wait. But it's so damn worth it, trust me.
