Hi people,

I've been considering taking some gracie jiu jitsu locally in L.A. I just wanted to know if anyone else had an interest in this locally or what is your training or what is your style and/or belts?

Unarmed combatives/martial arts of course.

Sun Tzu said it best, "To know thyself is half the battle won, but to know yourself and the enemy, is to win 100% of the battles".

Blue belt in kempo ju jitsu here. Not done it in years though due to injury.

I've been wanting to take one of those women's self defense classes. The ones with the guy wearing that massive padded suit so you won't hurt him when you unleash on him.

I don't have any training in a specific style.  I did get a lot of training in unarmed and armed (mainly clubs and knives) fighting in college and then later in the Army.

I studied aikido a long time ago. Since losing weight I'd like to take it up again and maybe explore Krav Maga. I'm not into the magical aikido, but old school. BFT works well too.
