I assume that you are talking about the television series "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century"
Even though it was kind of corny I loved to watch Buck Rogers too.
I had a crush on the female lead.... Erin Gray
The male lead who played Buck Rogers was Gil Gerard
Again, it was a little corny (perhaps a lot corny) but I watched it whenever it was on.
No, when that Buck Rogers in the 25th century was on, I was already out working and supporting myself. The series I watched were the ones shown in movie theatres back in the 1930s. In those days, when you went to the movies, you'd not only get one or two features, but also newsreels, cartoons and more. Serials such as Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon and westerns with Roy Rogers or Gene Autry were common fare. As I mentioned, this was before television and movies were a main source of entertainment.
By the time I got around to watching those shows, they were a staple on kid's TV, either after school or on Saturday mornings.
