My name is Joannie and I live by Pensacola. Found this forum while online this morn and wanted to touch base with local trans people near me.
8 years fully transitioned m/f and in a loving les relationship.
My story is about as basic as anyone's, and if you desire specifics then talk to me with IM
My "handle" is softbutchharley cuz I have a soft butch vibe I've been told I am very comfortable in my own skin as they say

Hello Joannie  aka: softbutchharley, I see that you are new here, this is the right place for you to be to read about what others have experienced in their transition journeys.

You live in Florida and I live in Alaska.... two completely opposite places as far as climate is concerned.  You have hurricanes and humid heat and I have earthquakes, snow and bitter cold.!!!!!!!

I lived in Anchorage area for 2 years...Palmer specifically...Born and raised here in Florida.
I prefer the warmth   lol
I have been fully transitioned for about 8-9 years now, and stopped going to local support meetings etc. a long time ago. I joined here to watch the posts and hopefully give back to the TG community in some form or fashion with another person who may be reacing out.
TY again and stay warm dear !!! We are going out into gulf Sunday to do a kind of salmon fishing thing...we are going after a fish called cobia and the "run" and trolling the water in boats is very similar to the "event" down by Homer every year when the salmon are running. Many boats, all going in a pre determined route to troll for the monster fish !!!  fun and more fun...
