Another of Julia's weird questions.

Hi everyone.  So what is the brattiest thing you did as a child? After listening to my dad telling Tristan how much of a brat I could be as a child and him laughing about some of the stuff I did I started wondering about how bratty others were when they were kids. So please share your brattiest moments as kids.

My dad can probably remember others but the brattiest thing I can remember doing was when I was 6. I had wanted chocolate milk and after pouring a glass of milk my dad discovered we were out of the chocolate syrup stuff. He told me we were out of syrup and he couldn't make me chocolate milk. I got really mad and took the glass of milk and threw it on the floor. The glass broke into a million pieces and milk went everywhere. My dad only had on socks and they got soaked with milk. Lol. I started to stomp away and my dad grabbed a handful of my hair and pulled me back. Then he snatched me up and carried me to my room, threw me on my bed and told me not to even think of coming out of that room. My dad has never spanked me and that's the only time he ever got aggravated enough with me that he got physical with me. When he recounted the story to me years later he said I had been super bratty that day and had talked back, told him no every time he told me to do something and had pretty much been a little ->-bleeped-<- all that day. Honestly I don't think throwing a glass of milk on the floor was THAT bratty. Im totally sure my brother did way brattier stuff than me. My dad told me between myself and Tyler it was a miracle he didn't have a head full of Grey hair. Yeah right, we weren't THAT bad!

I wasn't much of a brat, tbh. I never used to talk back as a kid or throw tantrums. I'd sulk though.

I guess the brattiest thing I'd do would be to complain of being bored a lot. Then my mum would kick me out to go and play in the street. And if there was nothing interesting to do I'd go and make some mischief. Not that my parents ever found out about much of that.

Lol! Mines pretty similar. My dad had an inuparenting style which didn't really work (he only saw us every other weekend as he left mum when I was little) I can sum it up is by describing this situation: he asked if I wanted broccoli. I said no. He gave me some broccoli and said I would be having some anyway. I picked up the plate and smashed on the table and walked away... I was very sad when I found out he had thrown away the broken plate as it was my favourite and refused to talk to him afterwards!

Oh gee, Tyler and I never complained about being bored because my dad would give us stuff to do and it wasn't anything fun either. Lol

I got bratty when I got blamed for stuff I didn't do. Let's face it, I had suffered from more than my share of beatings.
When I was 5, my adoptive brother started hollering from across the street that "mom wanted me home, and that I was in trouble. I picked up a brick. He ducked down behind a car. I threw it, and it bruised his shoulder. At age 12, my adoptive sister tried pulling a similar stunt. So, I beat her with a life vest. My adoptive brother was so bad, he put me in trouble pretty much every day. So, every time I got a beating, I beat him up. He'd tell me " I'm telling mom, and you'll really get it. She administered all my beatings. So, I'd tell him "every time I get a beating, so will you. Got it?".

Or does that qualify as bratty?

Yeah same here, it was "so you want to do something around the house, then" or "I'll give you something to whinge about". I'd rather stand in the rain than do those cast iron casserole dishes.

Tried making a bomb with sugar & weedkiller with the kid no one was allowed to play with ( he was much more fun than the stiffs anyone's parents approved of. He was the first person I knew to be deported at 15). The bomb never went off, there was an old guy on the allotments who was always ratting us out for having fires, shooting air guns, riding motorbikes underage so we watered his allotment with the bomb. Next day everything was shrivelled up & yellow, he was scratching his head wondering what happened, I don't think anything grew there for years after
