Well I'm not non-binary but I think you shouldn't get too hung up on the labels though... Labels are just words like adjectives to better describe someone's experience. Similar to 'artistic' or 'sporty'.
The most important thing is you know what you need: like for example T and top surgery. It really doesn't matter 'how much of a male' you are then...!
Many ftms have hangups on that: that they must feel '100%' male. Well I don't think a percetage is a good indicator or a description for someone's gender. Bcos it can be confused with being feminine or masculine. Remember that clothing and hair length and wanting to look 'cute' sometimes doesn't have anything to do with your gender, really! I mean you can be a guy and have long hair for example. You shouldn't cut your hair just bcos you think 'that's what trans guys usually do' in order to qualify as trans. Cis and trans guys CAN and do have long hair. Similarly you don't have to grow a beard just bcos you go on T. You can also wear make-up or wear whatever and still be a guy.
The most important thing is what YOU feel INSIDE! If you cringe for the thought of being referred to as a girl in anyway, you might be just ftm. What is the narrative inside your head? Do you consider yourself a guy, a girl, or something else? Some people also have hangups about gender words! Like 'man' vs 'guy' or 'dude' etc. So you can identify more as a 'boy' or 'guy' than a 'man' or 'male' for example! Again, just words. Don't get too hung up on them.
The point is: Do you feel uncomfortable as a girl? Do you feel natural/normal/comfortable as a guy? Do you want to express both in some way or...?
